According to this person, Alberta cannot legally separate from Canada. I'm not an expert at all in treaty, unceded, stolen land issues. But using multiple articles from the CBC to prove your point does not at up for having a solid argument.

Does this acknowledgment legally declare Canada as terra nullius or open it to annexations? 👀 Meaning… Canada has no legal owner, can be taken over. Quite interesting given ALL the statements that Donald Trump wants to make Canada the 51st state, yeah? I did some digging… and no royal family member has EVER explicitly used the term "unceded territory" in official statements or speeches regarding Indigenous territories in Canada before… While there have been acknowledgments of Indigenous presence, contributions, and the importance of reconciliation, the specific terminology of "unceded territory" has never been part any statements, ever.

Danielle Smith goes completely limp on the Alberta referendum, saying it's legally impossible for Alberta to have a referendum. Despite all the work put in to collect the needed signatures. From the BC Conservative leadership race to Alberta independence, our democracy is under extreme attack in Western Canada. We are being told our rights do not matter. Our voice does not deserve to be heard. Our votes simply do not matter and should only count if the establishment gets the outcome it wants. You can play by all the rules, only to watch the system change the rules at the last minute. Sickening but par for the course in Canada. I don't remember the Quebec referendums in 1980 & 1995 being shut down by the courts.

My Air India flight took off from Chandigarh with all window shades shut except the ones at exit rows. Apparently they are to be shut for all commercial flights departing from/arriving at defence airports in India. Not a flight safety expert but this did not seem safe. #AvGeek

Sadie Huff says we’re called to preach the gospel everywhere we go. Women can evangelize, share the good news, in Bible studies, to their neighbors, but we cannot heal. The gift of healing ceased with the Apostolic age. Of course, people are healed all the time from all kinds of diseases, but it is not performative at an event done by a person for the crowd to see. Cessationists do not argue that God cannot heal today, but rather that the gift of healing—the ability for a person to work miracles at will, such as Peter or Paul—has ceased.
