A little fact that some folks may not know about the song American Woman. It was originally sung by the band The Guess Who and was covered in 1999 by Lenny Kravitz. Many may not be aware that writers for the song and original performers of it happened to be Canadian. The single was released in March of 1970, making it 66 years old! Another fun fact about the song - it was actually written on the fly, on stage, and could have been lost forever had it not been for a teenager in the audience who was taping the live show bootlegging the show.

The Jacksons “Blame It on the Boogie” was released as the lead single from the Destiny Album on this date in 1978, “Blame It on the Boogie” is a cover of the Mick Jackson song and was written with hopes of being sold to Stevie Wonder. According to Michael, the producer of the Destiny Album brought the song to them. “It was a uptempo finger-popping-time type song that was a good vehicle for the band approach we wanted to cultivate. It was remarkable to have been in Otavalo, Ecuador and hear that the prophet of the Lord has authorized the building of a temple here. To see the faith of the people here who came to a devotional on a Thursday evening, not knowing this would also be a temple announcement, is incredible. I’ve been so impressed with the faith in Jesus Christ that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ecuador have and feel grateful for them and their example over the decades.

you can tell how kind an idol is by the fans they inspire 💛 in celebration of children’s day in korea, korean fans and even some international fans have been donating and doing good deeds for children through the “enhypen sunoo challenge” (#엔하이픈선우챌린지). most of them have donated to the korea childhood leukemia foundation 🤍 the kind of impact sunoo’s genuineness and kindness has is really just so beautiful. it reaches people in such a sincere way that it naturally encourages them to do good and spread that same warmth to others. sunoo will be so much proud of this 🥹

I want them to understand that this country had 98% taxation in one of the earlier regimes, which also never cared about the fundamental rights of the citizens. The regime which brought in the Emergency. And, for the corruption that happened between 2004-14, the public of India would have been much better if that money would have been in the coffers rather than the pockets of a few dynastic leaders. - Smt Nirmala Sitharaman during her reply on #FinanceBill in #LokSabha.
