Is he lying or is he just out of touch with reality? The objectives were: 1. Regime change, but the regime is still there and in talks with the Americans. True, many of the Iranian leaders were killed, but were replaced. This is the same regime! 2. End of Iranian nuclear plans, but the Iranians still have 450 kg of enriched uranium at 60 per cent enough to make 10 bombs. 3. Destroy the Iranian ballistic missile programme, but it is still there and the Iranians kept launching until the last minute. Above all, Iran still control the Hormuz and at the time of writing blocking it again.
