I love this guy but I'm sorry but I 101% disagree with this take, this take is absolutely so horrible 😅 This is truly a superficial take that people do for the New Team NInja " Soulslikes " Games. The combat in those games is absolutely not pure number loot slop. It can be if someone wants to play them as Diablo-likes yes BUT if someone wants to enjoy a super deep and complex combat, there is absolutely no need to care about numbers and RPG stuff. Someone can simply just focus on the pure combat aspect of the game, as long has he has enough mastery in order to be able to do it. And that's why I love and enjoy SO MUCH Nioh, Wo Long and Stranger of Peak 🔥 And speaking of harder difficulties of the game, bosses do NEW ATTACKS and they have a different AI on EVERY SINGLE different difficulty. This video was recorded in the hardest difficulty of the game, Lufenia Difficulty. Imma be really honestly , I love the choreographers Katseye has , but we see the difference when a woman is choreographing something vs a man. I think Katseye would truly benefit from having more women choreographers because this was amazing . I’m not saying get rid of Grant or Sohey AT ALL!!! I’m just saying implement more women! These girls can do so many moves and tricks as we can see but it’s like , for it to be executed a certain way with grace you need a woman’s touch on that choreography and I feel like we see that with IBM, I loved this choreography far more than Pinky Up ! Both are great but understand what I’m saying

The fact that Rap was a Psyop has been bugging me.. so I went back and listened to all the number one hits of 1999, almost all of which I'd never heard before. And now? Now I don't think just Rap was a psyop.. Now I think almost all popular "Black" music was. But Why? Well.. Think of it like the "Swifting" of music. It's not just all vapid and all interchangeable, in a dreamy or hypnotic quality.. but it always presents the exact same message. Like late night talk show hosts always have the exact same message. It doesn't matter who the artist is,it doesn't even matter what song they're singing.. inexorably it will politically and ideologically walk in lockstep. I'm curious to know if you can spot what the message is. Listen to the songs, really listen to them. The core message is: Black men are presented as strong, powerful, desirable. White men are weak and fragile simps. Consider, there's TWO songs by White women about just loving their men... (neither of which actually hit number 1 unlike what the video says) the rest are thinly veiled encouragements to go have sex or go out of their way to find fault with their men. "That don't impress me much." Conversely, all the Black/Latina women (with two exceptions (both involving money, interestingly enough) love their men to no end and aren't shy about saying so. Alternatively the White men positively gush over women... or whine about how hard life is. But they are never presented as strong, virile, or dominant. Fighting games have long had a challenging learning curve dating back to as far as 1 frame links in Street Fighter, to what looks like gibberish to input a fatality in Mortal Kombat. Sajam presents a good question in this clip, "Why are fighting games not allowed to be sick?" ----------------------------------------------------- Fighting games have existed as very niche genre, even now the viewership and participants of people that partake in fighting games is often dwarfed by any shooter, moba, or TCG game. That being said they ARE growing as a genre and new players find themselves heavily invested in discussion threads, discords, or tournaments which is awesome! It's amazing to see such growth in what felt like a small slice of the world in Esports. This growth is in no short part to the accessibility shift that new fighting games have aimed to capture in an attempt to weaken the barriers of entry to such a demanding genre. Therein lies the issue though, what we've gained in accessibility we have lost in identity. A lot of playstyles in newer fighting games feel homogenized, simplistic, easy to understand but stifling once comprehended. Why does a game like Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 still entice players younger than the game itself to it's community? Why did Street Fighter 3 third Strike have such an electrifying tournament at Evo despite being that game being old enough to rent a car? - Unique and plentiful characters - a non-constrictive fighting game system - identity in the way you play and interact with the game New fighting games are like a tiny sandbox in wealthy park. You know it's not very big, and maybe it's only fun for a little while, but it's always well maintained and accessible. Old fighting games are sandboxes in old neighborhoods : not very cared for, probably a bit unsafe, but so vast and unexplored you often came home every time with a different experience from it (good or bad). It's hard to say which I like more, maybe I like both. But when I was kid I just know I loved being in a bigger playground, and I think as an adult- I still deserve a big playground.

Funny how LeBron fans won’t call LeBron’s first 12 seasons “plumbers” or “not skilled” era. Interesting video of guy showing how much different the game was in 2011 vs today. It basically shows how 2000’s and early 2010’s basketball is far closer to 90’s NBA than today. He points out all the non shooters in the floor, lack of spacing, etc. Even shows a clip of LeBron driving to the basket but finding no space to shoot with 3 guys around him and only a subpar shooter to pass it too. But based on LeBron fan logic, today’s players are just far more skilled than 2004-2014 so the top players today must be better than peak LeBron.
