What is the government doing about this? The government should be building more affordable hostels and accommodation for students to prevent situations like this. The government cannot keep ignoring its responsibility and forgetting that education is the key to a better future. If a student cannot even afford a place to live, how are they expected to focus on their studies and succeed? Affordable student accommodation should be a priority. Supporting students means more than just providing education—it means ensuring they have the basic conditions they need to access and complete it.
