An emotional and immensely enthusiastic feeling at the successful conclusion of the nearly month-long world’s biggest chess event, the FIDE World Cup 2025 in Goa. With 206 players and 83 federations from across the world, the event was truly a chess juggernaut and India’s moment on the global stage. Our sincere thanks to Aadarniya Pradhan Mantri Shri Narendra Modi ji for motivating us and for his constant support to chess. In a significant boost to road infrastructure in Bihar, Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works worth over ₹7,000 crore in Motihari. The world’s tallest railway pier bridge is rising in Manipur! From the hills of Manipur, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision for last-mile connectivity is taking shape. The Noney Bridge -141m high and 703m long, is being built at a cost of ₹650 crore as part of the ₹21,885 crore Jiribam–Imphal railway line. The bridge is expected to be completed by March 2026, and the entire line by December 2028. As part of my 3-day visit to Manipur, I toured Noney district, reviewed project progress with DC Sharath Chandra ji, IAS, and senior officials from various departments. Once completed, this project will firmly place Manipur on India’s railway map, transforming connectivity and accessibility across the region - a true reflection of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji’s vision to take development to every corner of the nation.
