UPDATE from Universal Ostrich Farms I arrived back at UOF today after news came down this morning that the Supreme Court of Canada will announce their decision on Thursday November 6th. Garlic Girl shares her thoughts on today's news and tells us more about what this experience has been like for her. The RCMP seized her property for logistical and operational purposes. Their operation is destroying the property. They surround her property at all times, they follow her with drones and she has to go through a police checkpoint every time she wants to go in or out. They have been terrorizing her!

This is Canada's national police force, the RCMP. They are working as a paramilitary protection force for unelected bureaucrats at the CFIA. They have been occupying and destroying another family's property adjacent to Universal Ostrich Farms and they have been terrorizing the family while they do it. Show me your papers! Part II Aly "The Garlic Girl" had her family farm beside Universal Ostrich Farms seized by the CFIA and the RCMP to facilitate and control access to a massive cull operation. Aly's land was never part of the quarantine and was only seized once the cull operation began. Since the land has been seized, the operation has caused extensive damage to the land. It looks like the cfia might be getting ready to head out during the night. The RCMP are likely to remain while the fences are taken down. CFIA, RCMP, it's time to leave and let this family grieve.

OP BINWATCHING is underway. There has been serious, and I believe credible, concern raised here at Universal Ostrich Farms that the number of birds here is low and possibly dropping. Sgt. Mike Rude (retired) has been collecting evidence and has provided that to the RCMP along with a sworn affidavit. The RCMP have confirmed that they have begun and investigation and that it is ongoing. However, they have also stated to the family that they do not plan to do an independent headcount and will rely on CFIA for information. We know for certain that one ostrich has already died here while under the "care" of CFIA and under the "protection" of the RCMP. A simple headcount could clear this up and relieve a lot of stress on the family and the public following this story. I don't know if there are birds missing yet, but many people do and the evidence I've seen from Mike and with my own eyes makes me inclined to think something is off. If there are birds missing, we are going to do our best to prove it and if there isn't, that would be the best outcome. More to come.

CFIA overreach accelerates as neighbour's property seized, threatened with arrest The CFIA has expanded its seizure of land to a family independent of Universal Ostrich Farms, restricting the owners from their own home and garden. In the latest twist of the Universal Ostrich Farms vs. Canadian Food Inspection Agency standoff, Rebel News is exposing how the CFIA’s overreach has expanded beyond the farmers and their avian-flu immune ostriches, and onto the property of their neighbours. While on site, we spoke with Alyson Turnbull, niece of ostrich farm co-owner Karen Espersen and cousin to farm spokesperson, Katie Pasitney. Turnbull explained her immediate families' shock and horror to come home to much of her mother’s land being seized for the CFIA cull mission while they were away from the home. The property, which borders the farmers' property, was never deemed a “dangerous zone” until this past September, just before the CFIA was granted a “warrant to search” under the Health of Animals Act, section 34. Despite not being involved in the ostrich farm operation, the family has been treated like criminals; RCMP remain stationed at their property around the clock while the Supreme Court deliberates whether the CFIA’s cull order can proceed. When Alyson tried to get answers as to why they were being restricted and told they can’t even harvest their own garlic, an RCMP officer told her that the CFIA “has control of your property” and that they were being “gracious enough” to allow them to access to the house only. She was later warned via text by a liaison officer to remember, that according to CFIA, Alyson could not go into her mom’s “property without first emailing them” and cautioned that the CFIA could order her arrest if she did not comply. The overreach mirrors the same heavy-handed approach that Alyson’s aunt and cousin, Karen and Katie, faced when being arrested shortly after the CFIA descended to their properties, because the ostrich farmers insisted on humanely caring for their birds until the CFIA was lawfully able to cull them. A list of “Judgements to be rendered on leave applications” for this week do not list the “UoF vs CFIA” case, which means the cull will likely remain paused this week. Still, the CFIA shows no signs of backing off the land, returning care to the farmers, and spending less tax dollars in doing so to give the Supreme Court time to reserve judgement.

"How do you allow the criminal to lead the investigation?" Karen, Katie and Mike Rude give us the latest update from Universal Ostrich Farms. There is a growing concern that the number of birds here is far lower than it should be and the family has been desperately trying to get a head count. Mike has been collecting evidence which was given to our RCMP this morning. The RCMP confirmed that they have begun and investigation and that is ongoing. Now we're hearing that the people informing RCMP for their investigation are the very ones that should be being investigated! The lack of transparency here is appalling. CFIA should have a headcount at all times in sharing this information would go a long way to easing the family's concerns. If CFIA won't do the right thing, I implore the RCMP to investigate this properly and do their job as police.

Universal Ostrich Farms Update - 12 November, 2025 Days after the mass slaughter most of the CFIA agents and their RCMP paramilitary protection force have left the farm. A skeleton crew remains as fences are torn down and allegedly contaminated hay from the killing fields is dragged all over the yard and driven out onto the highway. Once the CFIA and RCMP leave the farm there will be a lot of work to do to document what's left behind for the family and supporters to begin picking up to pieces of their shattered lives. He got arrested in front of Aly "The Garlic Girl's" gate... A gate that leads to a seized property behind police lines that just happens to be next to Universal Ostrich Farms and useful for this massive government overreach. Aly's family is related to the farm's family but her property was never part of the quarantine and was only seized once the cull operation began. Can you imagine living through this dystopian nightmare?

"We shouldn't be surrounded by a whole bunch of RCMP that don't have any empathy or compassion" A distraught Katie Pasitney (Universal Ostrich Farms) speaks with PLT officers following another incident with a front-line RCMP officer. The RCMP made a nearly impossible situation last night far worse than it had to be. They were aggressive and they were instigating and they are up to their same tricks again today as family and supporters are trying to grieve. The RCMP have stated numerous times they are here to keep the peace but from my perspective they appear to be provoking and terrorizing traumatized Canadians.

"Here is just a small sample of the earlier days of the RCMP and CFIA seizing our SEPARATELY OWNED property next door to Universal Ostrich Farms, which they then occupied for more than 50 days, while relentlessly circling us, harassing us with drones, forcing us to ask permission every single time we needed to go in or out of our own gate, and more. They were informed at every turn that this property was separately owned, and did not belong to the owners of Universal Ostrich Farm. They used a warrant that was nearly identical to the others, it named Karen and Dave, not the lawful property owners. We had to watch them completely take over the property on livestream, without ANY warning or paperwork of any sort from the CFIA or the RCMP. Even after we reached out to them, we still had ZERO contact from them until we were physically in front of them trying to get in to our own property. This concept is simple in my opinion. If you seize a person's property, that warrant better have that person's name on it. In an operation like this, you don't get to just also seize the neighbours property for good measure, calling it the neighbours "secondary quarantine property" That's just not how it works. We have never been able to locate or access the information used to obtain that warrant. We have seen nothing showing that this was anything more than them simply not doing their homework first on who owned the property. And when we repeatedly asked, all we were ever told was "I'm not discussing this with you." The CFIA will not provide a headcount and are not being transparent with the family or the public. The RCMP have stated that they have begun in an investigation and that the investigation is ongoing but they are relying on information from CFIA for their investigation. This American family has a property that’s over 100 acres large He wanted to built a treehouse, the county told him it needed to be a specific size, so he built it that size Th country is now saying it’s considered the primary residence on the property and won’t let them build another house….. again they own 100 acres…. The reason is, is because they have an ordinance structure that says you can’t build the secondary home before the first home (and now the treehouse is considered a home) The only workaround is to pay thousands of dollars for surveyors to draw an invisible line, divide up the property so it’s now technically a separate property so they can built their primary house The government is too big. Every time the customer orders something and the delivery guy has to deliver it to their home. They call and complain that their driveway is private property and that they shouldn’t be using it even to deliver their mail or packages and pizza. This delivery man is fed up with the unreasonable complaints so if the homeowner doesn’t want him on the property, he is going to leave their packages on the curb on the public street from now on. Is he being reasonable or is he using malicious compliance in this case?

A Dark Chapter Ends and a New Chapter Begins... More than 6 weeks after the CFIA, and their RCMP paramilitary protection force, seized Universal Ostrich Farms and two adjacent properties, provoked and terrorized family and supporters, they have finished taking down their fences and police tape and have released the property. It feels very surreal to me. The horrific slaughter is over and the occupying force is gone but this story is far from over. It's the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Now will be a time to grieve and then begin the long process of picking up the pieces and going after the people that perpetrated this heinous crime on innocent Canadian farmers. There will be accountability... It is now our singular mission.
