Adding lots of new tools to Screenity, to make better annotations while recording 🖌️ I also created a fun radial menu to switch colors and strokes, maybe it could be triggered from anywhere in the canvas w/o the toolbar? 👩‍🎨 Hoping to share a version with testers soon!

Woah, nice job. Tips from me, make the default font for the text more "cool". To add more canvas-ee feelings. Just like excalidraw with its font.

New short course: Collaborative Writing and Coding with OpenAI Canvas! Explore new ways to write and code with OpenAI Canvas, a user-friendly interface that allows you to brainstorm, draft, and refine text and code in collaboration with ChatGPT. In the short course, created with OpenAI, and taught by , a research lead at OpenAI, you’ll learn to use Canvas to enhance your workflows. Canvas lets you go beyond simple chat interactions. It provides a side-by-side workspace where you and ChatGPT can edit and refine text or code collaboratively. This makes brainstorming, drafting, and iterating as you write feel more natural and effective. As the first major update to ChatGPT’s visual interface since its launch in 2022, Canvas gives a new, innovative approach to collaboration with AI. For instance, after writing the first version of your code, Canvas can review it and give suggestions for improvement. It can also help with debugging by adding logging, identifying problems to fix, and writing comments. In addition, you'll also learn what it takes to train the model for an interface like Canvas. In this video-only short course, you’ll: - Learn how to ask for in-line feedback and control the iteration of your work by directly editing selected areas of your text or code from the model’s output. - Learn how to access quick automation tools in a shortcut menu that allows you to modify your writing tone and length, enhance your code, and restore previous versions of your work. - Learn how to use Canvas as a research assistant tool with an example of asking the model to reason through the screenshot of a plot to write a research report, in which you can ask questions within the created report. - Ask the model to write Python code to replicate the graph seen on a screenshot image. - Go behind the scenes of how you can create a video game, such as Space Battleship, from scratch, edit it, and display it in one self-contained HTML file. - Get a real-world application example of creating a SQL database from the image of its architecture. - Understand the model training and design processes that power Canvas! Lewis is so open here, please please give it a listen, so generous of him to share this with us and so inspiring 🥺 "When I'm at the racetrack, I'm in an environment where you have to be really guarded and protected. And then in my personal life, I mean, you can have lots of fun and be very creative and interact with people in a different way." "But I think it's really important to be happy and in a good place, away from the tracks. Then you arrive in a good place. If you're unhappy when you're away from it, you're often unhappy at the races." "So there's things that I've learned away from the track, from like social media, from podcasts, like breathing exercises, just about how to take care of yourself. Because these are not things that I was taught at school. I don't think there's actually anything that I learned at school that has benefited me. That I can apply. There was literally nothing that, and I think that's ultimately probably a problem with some of the education system. It doesn't necessarily prepare you for life, in terms of how to handle the mental pressures." "You know, mental health is such a huge issue around the world. And I, for one, also have been massively challenged in that area." "So learning new tools along the way, away from the race, has enabled me to arrive better prepared, better equipped, more able to deal with the pressures, the incoming assault or negativity. And then turning that into positivity and channeling that into something that I love, into racing." "Having something to be able to focus on, that's the privilege, that's how lucky I am to be racing. I think everyone needs to find a balance in life. But if you can find something that you're passionate about, take all this energy and focus onto something, it could be boxing, it could be, it could be a sport, it could be what you're studying. I think that's what we need to encourage lots of kids to be doing."
