Vibe Coding Metahuman with ThreeJS: Hairs and Combs It's now possible to draw hair, density and flow masks, place guide curves and comb them! The hair is rendered partially as curves and card meshes to achieve more volume with less strands and there are lots of material/shader settings to tweak it afterwards. Don't ask me what they all do, the melanin slider for sure does something Okay it's not photo realistic but i'd say pretty solid for a day's work? The UI is still a complete mess but i'll clean it all up eventually That's it for the head! Next up is tedious modeling work again, on to the body!

#swarla scenes today I think after today's 39sec scene we can come to the conclusion that swarla is deff taking a BIG STEP BACK😭 for a long time...😣 I fear if they become the next Alya and Adam😵I wouldn't handle that💔 they are gonna let this couple be background😭😭😭 Only thing saving us is Lisa getting some work done.. That's about it.. And the Betsy storyline will be in autumn since they haven't even started filming it... I'm being very dramatic here, but it's cause I care about swarla😪 and they are my priority in corrie, all other stories are background to me, and I cannot be bothered to be more invested than that right now..

I am the only one who warned this would happen at the beginning of the year! All these extreme plane crashes are not a coincidence. Unfortunately, the number of deaths from plane crashes is only going to rise from here. There is a reason so much of the information about these crashes is either hidden or delayed. They are attempting to avoid a widespread public panic. The total number of “accidents” is misleading. Look at the number of deaths/extreme incidents already this year! Bookmark this tweet, because I can tell you that we are about to see a lot of high-profile boat crashes next. Once I have the full story put together, I will reveal all of the information in a report and call out many specific names. That puts my life at risk, but it has to be done! If anything happens to me, the report will be released early by multiple sleeper sources. There is no stopping it now!

To prove once again that I ain't been sitting on my thumb all day I provide a VERY early work in progress video of the update coming to 'Winter Company' for all #VR platforms which support #VRChat. I will be honest this is very much likely gonna be my final world. I thought I would update one of my favorites with an updated and more optimized look. I'll still support my works which are being used or requested updates even perhaps drop random things for my store from time to time. I enjoyed my time making content for VRChat over the past 8 years but I feel my time has come and I want to take what I've learnt to the next level! So look out for that content in the future. I made a digital twin of myself from 10 seconds of video. In the clip: left is the real me, middle is a leading avatar model, right is Mirage Avatar X. Watch the eyes. The difference is not subtle. I have been testing AI avatar models since my first clone in 2023. Every one of them was impressive for about 30 seconds, then your brain caught up. Still eyes. One polite expression. Young people are paying the price for a Labour Government that refuses to recognise the cumulative impact of its decisions. Getting that first foot on the employment ladder is already difficult. Without experience, employers are reluctant to take a risk on young people. Yet the Government has made that decision even harder. Higher National Insurance costs, new employment regulations and increases in the minimum wage have created a triple whammy for employers, squeezing young people out of work. Youth unemployment is rising and too many young people are being denied the opportunity to gain the experience they need to build a career. The Government cannot continue to look at these policies in isolation. It must recognise their combined impact. Without that first job, there is no experience. Without experience, the next job is even harder to find.

We're kinda bearish CPO. $APH is going to perform much better over the next few years than previously expected.” Full quote: “The spending associated with AI chips is currently at or below 10%, but when we move to CPO, networking will grow even further, to 20% or 30%. We are seeing a huge uplift in networking content. CPO is a massive step-function change for the industry, and everyone recognizes it now, but people are getting a little too exuberant. In my view, it is not coming in 2027. It will really arrive toward the end of 2028, with 2029 being the real ramp for scale-up CPO. There have been a lot of manufacturing problems. If we could deploy it today at a good cost, everyone would do it. However, it is really hard. The manufacturing volumes and yields are not there, and the chips are not fully designed for it yet. It is a very complex and difficult technology to ramp, so people are going to stay with copper for as long as they can. That means Rubin is all copper, and Feynman, the next-generation Nvidia GPU after Rubin and Rubin Ultra, is still copper. We are not even shipping Rubin yet. We have a few generations of chips before we get to CPO on the GPU. CPO on switches is coming earlier than on GPUs or AI ASICs. Even without CPO, as cluster sizes get bigger, you need more optics, active electrical cables, and similar components per GPU. We have seen a major shift in the dynamics. On Monday, we released a note for our institutional research subscribers stating that, over the medium term, we are actually very bullish on copper and non-CPO optics, while being slightly bearish on CPO. This is due to delays in downstream chips, such as Feynman not fully utilizing CPO. Copper companies like Amphenol, which make backplane connectors and cables, are going to perform much better over the next few years than previously expected because CPO is being delayed. Ultimately, integrating optics is much more expensive than sending signals electrically. However, electrical signals cannot travel very far without adding repeaters or optics. There is a trade-off continuum, and while CPO will happen, it is currently being pushed out.”

I think I've written the world's fastest Blender exporter. It exports full levels in 9 milliseconds. Check out this video where I show live editing of levels from blender, and it updates instantly in the game. For some context: Okay, since the beginning of development on this game project, I knew I didn't want to write a custom level editor for it and rather spend my time programming the game. I decided to use blender as the level editor, and export directly from blender to my game engine's file format. Blender only lets you write add-ons in Python, which is not just incredibly slow but also a terrible platform for this kind of systems programming work. So, after having a Python exporter for the longest time, I decided enough was enough, and I programmed this exporter in C. Blender doesn't expose any C API or interface. So my only option was to download Blender's source code and insert my code directly into Blender. And that's what I did :) So this new C exporter not only is orders of magnitude faster than the python version, but also is way more robust. And because I'm in C land, my hands are much freer to do things. There are two elements of secret sauce that make this exporter run so fast: - A custom memory arena implementation. - Lockless multithreading.

I'm going to be controversial here. I would love to pay to have my entire series animated. I would hope one day my books get picked up and this becomes a reality. But being realistic it's not going to happen. I will draw, write my own works and commission artists where i can. But seeing this, is a dream come true for me, even if its Ai. I'm glad that the original picture is my own hand. Hate all you want. It's okay to like things and I like seeing this in a way that would take a life time snd a shit load of money to do. How much I want to see this for real one day.

My stream has crashed every stream Ive done for the last year and a half. I dont know what to do and im about to quit. I have a job- just my hobby is being destroyed ): Here are more videos. Please help. -started with OBS and now a bit less crashes in SLOBS - Nothing in the logs / event viewer says anything is wrong. - Ive reseated my ram. - All gamebar/overlays are off. - no overheating (CPU 38°, Mobo 42°, GPU 53°) -6 month old thermal paste -3 month old bios - all updated firmware on everything/storage/mobo/ram - power hub USB - no plugins - HAGS off - nvidia audio devices off - max game fps set to 60 /playing at low quality - NO overclocking - meld wont work - anker surge protector+2 outlets I cant play games on my powerhouse of a PC, only Playstation is working to avoid lags. Still crashes though. Specs below

I can finally announce the project I've been working on with Joce ! Fondant is building a new app that brings avatars and vtubing to Web. Multiplayer lobbies for vtuber streamer collabs or just hangouts with friends, as well as character customization tools building up to a full creator. We are using a WebGL and WebGPU techstack, so part of the point is to provide a cross-platform alternative to the current Unity based app ecosystem, and also to build tools that people can use to create or modify characters without going through a DCC (Blender, Maya, etc). For now we're starting with the basics: multiplayer lobbies, VRM support, and some tools like merging accessories into existing VRMs in the quoted post, and transferring Custom Vertex Normals from proxy meshes. My role is stylized shaders and procedural character creation. I've been working on NPR Shaders and tools to help build and customize 3D anime characters in Blender for years. With WebGPU, we can bring it into Web. My hope is to build a full character customization system for the Web with next gen toon shaders, and also a matching set of tools in Blender for serious content creators. But it is early days still, and there's a lot to be done! Here's the latest WIP of the rig for fitting proxy meshes to new faces.

On Figma Motion, my demo & review. This is one of those updates that clicked swiftly into my workflow. Like in my 3D pipeline, using this stick shift animation, I emphasize hardware feedback with motion from Figma Motion. Assets are animated in Fig Motion and loaded into Blender as video textures for mesh and material control. It's advantageous since it is built into an ubiquitous ecosystem. A lot of work these days start in Figma even for someone like me that works outside the tool frequently. Can't over-emphasize my appreciation for the schema used to introduce motion to nearly all properties. Reminds me of how motion works in Blender - with better complexity management. Better than introducing more menus for those. Ease curves iD between keyframes is also an improvement over existing systems. Having spent some time on the tool, here are updates I'll like to see to Figma Motion. These are based on my immediate needs as at the time of working on this demo: • Using modifier keys (CMD, Shift, Ctrl) to jump / nudge across the timeline. E.g: holding down Shift key to make the playhead jump 100ms etc. • Jump to previous or next keyframe. • Better anchor point trails • Renaming layers from the timeline as well. • Editable custom bezier styles: after saving a style, I should be able to edit the curve - just as you can edit colour styles. • Enable transform on the timeline. I should be able to flip or scale keyframes. I hope to continue trying more ideas. Craft focused tools have had to take a backseat in recent times. Pleasing to see this come to light.

Tutorial video on how to test face tracking in Unity with face tracking hardware is here! This is probably the question I get asked the most, so I'm happy I finally got a chance to make a tutorial on this. This example demonstrates doing it with a Quest Pro using Virtual Desktop, but it should work with any headset. I've also done it with an iPhone and Bigscreen beyon 2e + Vive face tracker Next one I make will show how to do it without any hardware :D . . . . . Please keep in mind this video is intended for people who are already familiar with Unity and avatar creation or editing. This video does not go over troubleshooting face tracking, or teaching Unity basics, only how to test how it looks without needing to upload the avatar
