Once a neglected part of central Addis Ababa, Kasanchis is being reimagined as an inclusive and accessible public space. The redevelopment features asphalt roads, pedestrian walkways, bike lanes, children’s playgrounds, sports facilities, public plazas and green parks, public restrooms, commercial shops, and car parking facilities.
