Note: I am NOT blaming Andhra, Telangana and Tamil Nadu for getting more credit than deposits. All I am pointing out is that Bihar and UP can make similar divisive arguments—“what are we getting from Union when we aren’t even lent what we are depositing.” We Indians should understand that we are all in it together, and our failures and successes are contingent on each other, and we should work together as Indians collectively on principle of fairness and equity to ensure progress of backward regions, while suppressing our elitism. All arguments against North Indian States apply equally INTERNALLY to all Southern States. Some are less successful than others. Some are getting more, some are getting less.

Bro, I’m not blaming you either. But the truth is, people from Bihar ask for more benefits, and now there's no clarity on how the rerun will happen. Noida has seen some development, but maybe after 15 years you can expect real progress. Right now, no one is ready to invest that much money because people see Bihar as corrupt that’s the harsh truth. Same goes for UP it’s not as corrupt as Bihar, but it will still take a long time to develop. The problem is that in North India, most people just want government jobs. You must’ve seen how people in Bihar cry for reservations just to become IAS or IPS. But tell me, if that’s the mindset, how will industries ever come to your place?"
