FSD took me into the HOV lane yet again today despite me being the only passenger in the car. This time when I yanked it back into non-HOV lane and tried to engage FSD again, it blinked red asking me to take over immediately and displayed a message on screen saying FSD aborted due to system error. I had to drive manually for the rest of the trip. I thought I got a FSD strike but nope, I was all clear. FSD v12.6.4 continues to fail. 👎 Tesla Elon Musk Ashok Elluswamy

FSD 14.1.3 swerved AT a pedestrian at 4 seconds in. At least that's what I thought at first. Then I looked back at the footage and saw that the car to my left veered into my lane and FSD moved me over so I didn't get hit. We drive with two eyes that can only see in one direction. FSD is seeing all around the car AT ALL TIMES!

Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.

FSD just gained a new lifetime user. I saw this posted on reddit and thought I would share it here. ---- I am not a regular subscriber, but I was getting over COVID. With the foggy brain I subscribed to FSD just for the month to help me get around while recovering. I am fully recovered but get to enjoy the rest of the month of FSD. Car updated from 13.2.9 yesterday to 14.2. Today on my way home this happened! I couldn't figure out why it was slamming on the brakes until a mere second before the deer jumped out. I am so thankful. It doesn't replace human intervention but all the extra 'eyes' help. I'm still in shock and so happy I didn't destroy the deer and the car. source:

Driving behind a car that suddenly starts reversing because someone in front wants to park. The guy in front reversed pretty fast, so I almost overtook, but FSD automatically reversed too. When there was enough space to park, the car in front kept reversing… I panicked, honked, and then realised FSD was stopping for a cyclist behind me and still handling it perfectly and even backing up more after the cyclist has passed. #Tesla #FSD #knokke

Today Tesla FSD unequivocally saved me and my fiancée from a major collision or worse. Green arrow to turn left and FSD starts to go then suddenly stops, I'm thinking why did you stop I hit the accelerator pedal, it breaks again at the same time a SUV barrels through the intersection running a red light. From my view In the car I never saw the vehicle. Had I been in any other vehicle and pressed the accelerator I have no doubt I would have been T- boned in my driver side door. Here is why I disengaged FSD 14.3.3. Before this clip starts, I could see a semi coming down the on ramp and saw that it had some momentum. FSD did not slow down but the truck in the right lane would have ran into the other semi and either had to brake real hard or switch lanes. I took over to make it clear to the semi driver that I would let them over. No big deal, would be nice, if FSD could have seen that coming and facilitated that move. Tesla AI

FSD faced a real life trolley problem today and everyone lived. I was messing with the MCU when I felt the truck jerk right and then a harder jerk left. Cresting a hill a lady was coming into my lane so FSD moved to the shoulder to avoid her but a jogger was coming so it quickly veered left to give room. 💪🤘

I don’t know why the town turned the flashing yellow lights on here but FSD doesn’t understand at all and stabs the brakes when they flash. It’s awful. The signs next to them say to stop WHEN FLASHING RED. When will FSD read and understand words???

First safety intervention I’ve had to make on FSD v14 in about 1300 miles. During an unprotected left, FSD began the turn but hesitated and paused mid lane. I pressed the accelerator to clear before an oncoming vehicle would have had to stop. Unprotected left turns are still not fully solved and are one of the few situations that still get my heart rate up.

Super cool to see FSD track a hidden hazard on the road! FSD spots a tire ahead. The van in front runs it over. FSD tracks it through full occlusion and is already moving over before it reappears I didn’t want to take any chances at the end, so I took over

FSD 14.2.2.5 on Mad Max gets pulled over by a State Trooper for speeding 🚔🚨 A few interesting observations: When passing the State Trooper, FSD saw the vehicle and moved over into the left lane to yield more space (albeit without slowing down). When the trooper turned his lights on, FSD did initiate a turn signal as if it was going to pull off onto the shoulder. Unfortunately, I disengaged at this point and didn’t get to see if FSD would’ve actually stopped. Fortunately, only a warning was issued for speeding (allegedly). 🎟️

Just had one of the worst drives I've ever had in 5 years with FSD in the rain ... for some reason even though it limits you to Standard it would not stop getting into the left lane (and was capped at speed limit). And the left lane was flooded in spots... Tesla AI - the left lane obsession needs to end. At this point it's bizarre. Especially in these conditions. I manually had to move the car back to the right 10 times in 5 minutes. And overall ... I'm not going to lie I could not see anything. My heart rate was probably at 150 bpm. So I want to be an FSD but I don't want to be 3 ft from a barrier hydroplaning.. When the speed is limited in these conditions and it won't go the speed limit anyway - FSD NEEDS to stay out of the left lane!!!
