Love this Liz, I’ll be creating a variation on this for some of my patients 😃

Thank you! Progress with a weight and do the lunge both feet on tips toes. Regress to a squat and only one rep of each (probably leave out the hinge as that’s really hard) 😉

@jess_marnich I walk & climb around rocky or uneven terrain in my long leather steel-capped work boots. That's a lower leg workout + stability training 🤣.

Yes definitely without trainers so you can spread your toes and feel the floor - it will help foot strength if you do it in socks/bare feet! Let me know how you get on 🦶🏼👌🏼

Nice with a mace too! Presumably the weight is on the back leg…? When you say stability, do you mean balance?

Weight is shared between legs for the lunge… and yes stability meaning balance/ proprioception/ trunk and pelvic control - lots of different benefits… 🤸🏼🤺🧘🏼
