Adventure Mode in 2D Fighting Game This is not a separate project. It’s a selectable mode similar to Super Smash Bros. Interested in creating a sub space emissary experience with fighting game characters P.S Darkstalkers would work so well as a beatemup *This is an older video and version... show more

Next step would be fleshing out each individual world/stage

Honestly, I wish more fighting games would have a mode like this.

Should make it at final fight type game.

Hey, I’m glad you said that. I’d put it like this… Adventure Mode = Platforms, Traps, Items etc Sub Space Beatemup Mode = Linear Streets of Rage/Guardian Heroes/Guilty Gear Isuka like gameplay. This will be a separate mode all together. Why not have more content

Reminds me of Guilty Gear Judgement’s Adventure mode.

@ZettaSlowOG

Guilty Gear Isuka is kind of like that

Just for the record. IkemenGo supports Z-axis.

Sweet! Getting Beats of Rage vibes. This is good stuff.

BB HOOOODDDD

yo siempre pense que en el genero beatemup quedaria mejor el darkstalkers

This is why 2d games are so much fun

Poor red earth lion guy

Yo I need a DmC style B.B.Hood game in my life...😮💨🙏🔥💯

Awesome footage. How does blocking work in your game? Is block assigned a button? Or proximity directionals? Or something else?

Ok now port a MK Mythologies stage into Mugen and see how well that'll hold up (you won't)

People always think they know everything don’t they?

Blazblu sort of did it, with entrophy effect. Used the characters but modified how they played

Reminds me of Tekken 3

This looks hella clean bruh. Hope you find your people

I love this

Look up an OG Sega Saturn fame called Guardian Heroes

I want this for Marvel Vs Capcom so badly it hurts

@kono_Nio_da

🤔this looks incredible! are you using Mugen by chance?

This is IkemenGO. To put it simply: MUGEN forces you to build your entire project around a single mode, with no ability to support multiple gameplay types simultaneously. IkemenGO, on the other hand, allows you to create distinct game modes that coexist cleanly.(much like a console game with multiple gameplay options) Creators such as Borg push MUGEN to extraordinary limits, but they still rely on external front ends to compensate for its restrictions. IkemenGO eliminates that need. Historically, video games were complete experiences. IkemenGO aims to restore that PS2 era standard. In this context, “video game” refers to the full experience from the initial boot onward, not just the gameplay loop. MUGEN is comparable to an FPS template in Unreal Engine. The core exists, but the creator must build everything else and few people take it that far. Follow this creator. He’s a great demonstration of MUGEN’s full potential. But since not everyone has his level of coding expertise, it’s important that these alternative options exist. For the record, MUGEN isn’t the issue. The problem is that most people using it can’t code and treat it like a meme generator. SaltyBet completely reshaped MUGEN’s reputation because that’s all the public ever saw.

This the type of game I make too, adventure game but plays like a fighting game

The problem with sub space emissary is they never created an actual boss character that you could fight or unlock idk why they didn’t add new original characters for that mode

This would make an interesting mode in ikemen go.

Is this made in Mugen?

It's 2D Tekken Force Mode! This is awesome!
