Adventure Mode in 2D Fighting Game This is not a separate project. It’s a selectable mode similar to Super Smash Bros. Interested in creating a sub space emissary experience with fighting game characters P.S Darkstalkers would work so well as a beatemup *This is an older video and version of this mode. I’m posting again to say that I am still on the lookout for an experienced/professional level designer. Shares appreciated.

Anyone remember this game? Someday, I’d like to see this mode in a fighting game. PVE content is undervalued. Consider the success + addictiveness of Musou titles. A horde of endless enemies you can blast through using your favorite characters. For this to work, the odds have to feel overwhelming, or at least come in escalating layers of difficulty. The emotional hook comes from granting the player the power to become a one‑man army.
