Aerith was never supporting CT. She asked Cloud about his relationship with Tifa, and he denied there was anything romantic between them. Meanwhile, Tifa recognizes that something is developing between Cloud and Aerith, yet she still chooses to actively pursue him.

You want to paint Aerith in a bad light, when the one acting like a two faced, terrible friend since the original game was someone else.

The only time Aerith was supportive of CT is when she is telling Cloud to cherish his friends. She is telling him to be a better friend to Tifa but never supporting them as a couple.

Exactly, but they hate context and explicitly cut the part where she is talking about his friendship with Tifa just to make it seem like Aerith thinks CT is romantic.

She already knew Cloud gave the flower to Tifa since sector 5. Cloud was going for it too, this has been clearly debunked since freecam, not that you couldn't see it already. And they were talking about Cloud watching Tifa from the tower constantly. That's not about friendship.

In the tunnel of Kalm - where she says they were on a date kind of - I interprate that as Aerith helping Tifa and Cloud get closer - as Tifa had just shared her thoughts with Aerith the night before and knew there was drama - so it needed a little ”kick in the butt”.
