Status has raised $17M in seed and Series A funding led by Abstract, General Catalyst and USV to let anyone step inside their favorite stories, become famous, and live a million different lives. User actions are cryptographically signed by your private key before being submitted on-chain. The financial data is encrypted with that key and doesn’t leave your mobile device. So here’s the deal, THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT DATA IS COMPROMISED. Actors without security clearance have been given access to scrape your data. Elon Musk now controls your data and it represents the same level of control exerted by the Chinese government’s social credit system. Musk is now able to profile every name on the treasury data systems. There is no way to sugar coat the fact that your data is no longer secure. It can now be used to target you and not for your benefit, be sure of that. Democrats and advocacy groups can take all the legal action they like, THE DATA IS COMPROMISED and you can’t put the genie back in the bottle. This data can now be used to literally social engineer services to target any perceived enemy of ‘the state’. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, but then sit back have a think if any of what I am suggesting is not possible. I analyse big data for a living and I have no solution to this problem and neither does any Democrat telling you it can be fixed.

All user data on Flowsta is stored on Holochain. 1 public hApp (Holochain App) for public data like Agent ID, DID (W3C Decentralized ID), Display Name and Thumbnail. Each user has their own private hApp that encrypts all their private data, like password, email and usage meta data. Nobody can access this data without your password and/or recovery keys. It is mathematically impossible for Flowsta staff or anybody else to access this data without you explicitly granting access. This is game-changing. Look, you've gotta take 15% of your salary or any money you make cutting the lawn or whatever it is and you've got to invest it. What my mother did was never let more than 5% into any one stock and no more than 20% into any one sector. She didn't have ETFs back then. Now you can do this easily with an ETF, you can download an app. The key is have the discipline to save 15% from your average salary and if you start in your mid-20s and you have the discipline not to buy more crap you will be wealthy by the time you retire.
