She was monitored every hour since arriving on the 16th of April. At about 12.30 last night Leanbh gave up the fight, her poor heart was failing. Her MLHR family with her to the end, the wonderful Farm team held her, told her how much we all adored her ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” Today is yet another dark day for us, barely two years of age, Leanbh had been through nothing but cruelty and neglect in her very short life. We know the story we were told wasnโ€™t true. No foal should ever have to go through this. Wrong colour. Wrong sex. His mum will simply be bred again ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก How can this still be happening? Until laws are enforced and real consequences exist for cruelty, innocent animals will continue to suffer. Today was horrific. Across this country, so many babies were torn from their mothers because cruel people decided they had โ€œno value.โ€ ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ก We will not stop fighting for them, but we desperately need support to keep going. Despite every effort from our team and the incredible vets and nurses at UCD Veterinary Hospital, her body could no longer fight. Her liver failed, her organs began to shut downโ€ฆ and we lost her. This video was taken yesterday evening ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿฅฒ๐Ÿฅฒ๐Ÿฅฒ Patricia didnโ€™t deserve this. She was rescued on St. Patrickโ€™s Day in a horrific state, emaciated, injured, her hooves in bits, her body marked, and an embedded head collar that made it hard for her to even breathe. What she endured was not just neglectโ€ฆit was cruelty ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ก And someone is responsible. This cannot keep happening. Animals like Patricia are suffering in silence, and too often, those responsible face no consequences. That has to change. But in her final days, Patricia knew something different. She knew care. She knew kindness. She knew that a whole team was fighting for her, loving her, and refusing to give up on her. We are heartbroken. We are angry. But we are not done. We will keep fighting. No one was able to catch him despite community effort and we knew he was going to get injured on the road. We got a call today from a local who had been feeding him, he said he was in his hedge and couldnโ€™t moveโ€ฆ we were there in minutes, not knowing what condition this boy would be in ๐Ÿ’” We freed him from the thick hedging, got love him, he shook the whole way to safety. Heโ€™s finally safe in our care and being assessed by our vet now ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ will update later ! POOR HORSE ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”โ€ฆ.ONE OF THE RIOT HORSES ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” Today we had a call from An Garda Sรญochรกna Tallaght, this poor horse was lying on the ground and could not get up, suspected colic. Garda Kate moved fast, she has horse experience and was eventually able to get the poor thing up of the ground, he was totally exhausted and struggled to walk. We arrived and he was very lethargic but moving so we called our vet making sure heโ€™d be ready once we got him loaded. When waiting on transport we discovered this is the horse in the video on the trap with a child on the drivers lap that was ridden into the riots at City West last week ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก The poor soul has severe cuts on his legs from Ill fitted straps and sores on his mouth from the bit. No wonder he was weak ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” Gardaรญ are now investigating. POOR HORSE ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”โ€ฆ.ONE OF THE RIOT HORSES ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” Today we had a call from An Garda Sรญochรกna Tallaght, this poor horse was lying on the ground and could not get up, suspected colic. Garda Kate moved fast, she has horse experience and was eventually able to get the poor thing up of the ground, he was totally exhausted and struggled to walk. We arrived and he was very lethargic but moving so we called our vet making sure heโ€™d be ready once we got him loaded. When waiting on transport we discovered this is the horse in the video on the trap with a child on the drivers lap that was ridden into the riots at City West last week ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก The poor soul has severe cuts on his legs from Ill fitted straps and sores on his mouth from the bit. No wonder he was weak ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” Gardaรญ are now investigating. Storm ร‰owyn did a number on us ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” We have no electricity, internet, phone coverage. This video was taken at 8am this morning, we had been up all night trying to do the best we could for the animals in our care, thereโ€™s nearly 180 animals in total on our main farm and 80 pigs on our My Lovely Pig Rescue farm, the rest are all in foster and and on our smaller farm in My Lovely Horse Rescue Corkโ€ฆa very hectic night for all the humans, everyone exhausted today ๐Ÿ’” Shelters destroyed, roofs and tiles blown off and now struggling without electricity. Itโ€™s 6.33pm on Friday the 24th, we are praying it comes back on. We are filling buckets from our river and piling it up at stables. The main thing in all this madness is every animal in our care, over 700 of them are all safe and well, thatโ€™s what matters โญ๏ธ We ask if you can, please donate, we are going to need serious help in the coming weeks few days ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

After their father passed away in Sonipat, his daughters refused to attend the funeral and watched his final rites only through a video call. What human just left him?! Abandoned him ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” He has fleas and a few dry spots on his skin, we got him straight to our vet in Kilcock for a full che k over, heโ€™s not chipped. Itโ€™s heart breaking to see a poor young dog so shut down, itโ€™s just not right ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” We have called him Theodore, he looks like a Teddy so that will be his name, Ted โค๏ธ Please help us, please donate, Ted has added to our already huge veterinary bills but no way would we let this sad little beautiful boy down ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”โค๏ธ Thank you โค๏ธ

RIP Brianna ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” We had to say goodbye to a very special lady. We went to UCD and spent her last hours spoiling her ๐Ÿ’” Thank you to all the staff, they are as heart broken as we are ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” She was rescued 5 years ago from a horrendous situation, Brianna had been sexually abused, the monster involved was never prosecuted ๐Ÿคฌ Brianna came to us with a very bad urine problem, vets and specialists did their best and for 5 years Brianna was loved and spoilt rotten by her MLHR Family. Sadly because of what happened to her, infections were constant and finally too much pain and an infection that just couldnโ€™t be treated helped us make the decision that would break our hearts ๐Ÿ’” Brianna was a huge part of our every day lives, she needed so much care and we absolutely adored her. Her best friend Rodney has a Brianna hole in his heart along with everyone in MLHR. Brianna you endured unbelievable cruelty and came out the other side, thank you for the five years you made us laugh, love and understand.
