Africa is a very large continent, I'm an African in Africa. I do not have knowledge of this nor does my ancestors, be specific

I also don’t like people generalising but I found out that it’s not one of those beliefs that pertains to a certain country a lot of African countries practise it too so no one feels attacked I just said Africa😊 and if we really deep it this isn’t even among the Top10 ridiculous practice a lot of African countries indulge in.

Here in South Africa we have more than 10 "Kingdoms" and tribes none of us do this, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho too hence specifying which part of Africa would be better than generalizing. This is foreign to most of us

@Jaiathalien It even says our practices are ridiculous. I bet he's one of those blacks abroad

And that's how I got my Hulk powers 😭😂

😂😭

If they had raised their daughters well enough not to be sleeping around with men, they’ll not have to expose an innocent baby to bacteria and diseases to confirm their paternity.

We really have to end some of these wrong beliefs😪

@Real_Giilo Don’t be surprise most of your parent practices similar act… be careful how you spite on your ancestors. Sure confused Africans still exist don’t ever know there history.

So because some people that didn’t know better thousands of years ago practiced something I should join them? Chinese Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of unified China d!ed because he thought mercury would help him live forever not knowing it was poison if the Chinese people decided that because their forefathers drank mercury they should do the same would any of them exist today? Africans really need help💔

As ridiculous as this might look, that is how we did it before the white men came to our shores. Now we are more Christians and Muslims than the people we introduced us to religions. African tradition was dumped in the mud years ago.

Christianity got to Africa at the same time as Europe the whites didn’t bring it to us that’s a wrong belief, do your research the oldest and most accurate bible in existence is currently in Ethiopia where the ark of covenant is also believed to be hidden, it’s wasn’t spread across Africa but it was rampant in North Africa and we had transactions with them so some Nigerians were already Christian’s long before any white man set foot on our land.

If the white didn't bring Christianity to us, then how did the black race, Africans, got to know about Christianity? I know Jesus isn't black

Christianity started in the Middle East and spread into North Africa through foreign exchange between traders and early missionaries , the Ethiopian Orthodox Church was in existence long before any Catholic Church if you really want to know about Christianity Ethiopia is the place to go.

You have been reading the wrong books, bro

lol don’t be the typical African that runs from the truth because it doesn’t meet up to beliefs they’re used to, I’ll like you to do your research and find out if anything I told you today is wrong😊🤝

@BodeWarlord The Christianity in Ethiopia is way different from that of western world. They have different bibles, different belief systems, even calendars and dates of events.

The western world chose to neglect the Ethiopian church for many reasons and one of them was because the characters depicted in the Ethiopian Bible are all blacks and they needed to white wash everything but till date the most preserved form of Christianity is in Ethiopia their Bible has never been tampered with.

This is Yoruba/Yariba, stop calling it Africa These are people that came from God knows where

Why you no call the tribe? Someone who doesn’t know will think every family/tribe in Africa practices this crap! It’s high time we scrap sine if these horrible practices.

I didn’t call it because there are so many African countries that practice it I can’t start listing one after the other

@Ejimo4for @grok how many African countries or tribes practice this specific cultural type of DNA test?

This Zulu ritual, using cows to test paternity by observing if they approach or accept the child, is mainly practiced by the Zulu tribe in South Africa. Similar customs appear among related groups in Zimbabwe and Lesotho, totaling about three countries. It's not a widespread "African" practice across many tribes; modern genetic testing provides far more accurate results without cultural risks.

@nasrc013 @Jaiathalien @Ejimo4for This particular video isn't about a Zulu ritual. Check again and confirm the language spoken in the video.

@grok @nasrc013 @Jaiathalien @Ejimo4for That thing wey you dey find from @grok you no see am

@grok @nasrc013 @Jaiathalien @Ejimo4for But @grok dey wrong about the video.

Sources confirm this cow ritual for verifying paternity traces to the Zulu in South Africa, with variants in Zimbabwe and Lesotho. Videos depict Southern African Bantu languages like isiZulu. If the spoken words point elsewhere, details would help refine, but the practice aligns with documented Zulu customs over widespread "African" ones. Modern genetics trumps such methods anyway.

The ancient technology we keep talking about that the oyibos should have allowed us to develop further 🤣🤣🤣

😂by now maybe na Nylon bag of cow shit dem for Dey use test DNA

Yes na. We for don dey package am for nylon for people to buy DNA testing cow dung. Na for hospital exit dem go stay dey hawk packaged cow dung.

😂😭

I go lie for you?😂😭

Make dem still go do the DNA sha I won’t say more 😂😂

If dem no later lose the pikin with this nonsense wey dem first do😪

It so dirty

😂😭

This monstrosity is highlighted more by the fact that even cows don't do this to their offspring.

Facts

This people are all mad why treat a new born baby this way

@Jayboi0247 Introducing it to infection at such a tender age

@Jayboi0247 Na isese now 😀😀😀

@Jayboi0247 Which one be isese again them carry pikin put inside cow dung and animal carcass😪

I would rather father another man's child than let them put the baby through all this future shame.

I swear

Please be stating the country in Africa, don’t generalize Thanks

@scottceox A lot of African countries indulge in similar practise in supposed to list all?

Yes List the African countries bro

Using cow shit to cover a newborn baby cuz of what? To confirm if the child is really yours? I don't believe Jesus is black like people claim

There’s high possibility that he was black but that asides mehn this practice is really ridiculous😪

Very low-life practice

This is a cow dunk 🤣

At first I even thought it was wet grass until someone pointed it out Omo💔

Cow cud* not yet dung.. I bet the child was always for the father 😅

@OsapaLandlord 😂

Wtf is this

Supposedly if the child keeps his hands under the thrash they put him in then he’s the man’s child or something…just a very weird belief😪

Na Skin care be this or what

DNA test😭

Pov : Pls don't you dear cry

😂😭

One of the most finest Yoruba culture

I bet no one knows it's a cow dung 😭 They literally just dip that baby into it 😂

Disgusting😪

Abeg how much is DNA test again

I wonder o wey dem Dey give their pikin infection😪

@Aghachigozie_f Stop downplaying the power is African, do you know most of our forefathers go through lot of herbs and yet they don’t dead like you felt you call this infection but if is the white man doing it you will celebrate it

@Jaiathalien @Aghachigozie_f White man no fit do this rubbish way una dey do

@fvckwithinez @walenblue19 @Jaiathalien Except nah Indian white man🤣

Green lantern

All africa just needed was little research into these pur old practices and find ways to adapt them instead of totally trashing

Nope we’ve not even trashed enough of these ridiculous practices we’re just getting started😊

This is brutal and traumatizing to watch…poor baby!!

Nawa ooo 🙄 please at what point is it meant to show positive or negative cause I’m not understanding this video 🤧

If the baby cries- Negative😪

Nawa oo🤦♀️

Chaiii.... Just a shame just to do DNA test, you put baby inside cow dung! Is this not madness? It is.

It is!

What in the world is this?

Ruminants in a cows stomach😪

What is it for please

They believe if they put a new born baby in it and it cries that the baby doesn’t belong to the father😔

Let me reserve my comment

😪mehn

Bro I know that feeling. Been there too. But keep grinding

Africa is a continent. There are numerous tribes in Africa. We're not monolithic. Be specific. They are speaking Yoruba therefore, it's a Yoruba DNA Test, not Africa.

I don’t understand, how exactly is this go to help them ascertain the real father? How does cow dung relate to human dna? Someone should please enlighten me here

They believe that if the baby cries he’s not the man’s child😪

Just imagine, so if the baby cries, it’s not the man’s child. Where’s the logic in that? The baby might be the man’s child and still cry and vice versa. The accuracy of this method is 0% if you ask me.

@Jaiathalien It's not 0%, you're just trying to look wise and woke but I have seen several things that seem illogical yet they work including traditional medicine. One, I used myself.

@Jaiathalien Goodluck! 🤝🏾

I doubt this can even be. The papa and mama allow them to do this non sense, some of our traditions 🤦🏻 God forbid.

Honestly😪

NOT a DNA test, Rather I think it is an immunisation practice A baby being exposed to gut content boosts it's gut health If you find this to be disgusting Do search on what Amniotic fluid is composed of This is more healthy to the baby's immune than birth via ceaserean section

Isn’t that cow shit 💩? As how now?

Yes they split open a cow and put a new born baby inside the ruminants in its stomach😪 in the name of DNA test

@Adekunle_67 No, I don't think it is a DNA test, Rather I think it is an immunisation practice A baby being exposed to gut content boosts it's gut health If you find this to be disgusting, Do research on what Amniotic fluid is composed of

@Jaiathalien @Adekunle_67 What's amniotic fluid composed of?

@Jaiathalien @Adekunle_67 @grok Please tell us what amniotic fluid is composed of

Amniotic fluid is mostly water (98%) and electrolytes, with proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, phospholipids, urea, hormones, antibodies, immunoglobulins, vitamins, and fetal cells. It starts similar to maternal plasma early in pregnancy, then includes fetal urine and lung secretions later on.

@yosefu__yahh @Jaiathalien @Adekunle_67 @yosefu__yahh so your point is?

Yosefu seems to be suggesting that the ritual exposes the baby to beneficial microbes from cow rumen, similar to how fetuses are exposed to amniotic fluid components (like fetal urine and cells) for immune development. This could be a cultural way to boost gut health, though it's not a standard medical practice.
