I've been working to unplug this summer too. My physical and mental health have been in decline putting too much focus into this one thing and I'm no longer enjoying it for a lot of the same reasons. Balance and a good pause may be something to consider before deleting outright. I've been trying to dedicate half of my day to more physical real-world things. Could just be the funk of some macro or boom-bust cycle outside our control.

I truly appreciate the support from my community and all those standing with me. I welcome the initiative to mobilize people from my community. At the same time, I urge our coordinators on the ground to engage with other communities in the areas as well, so that after connecting with my own community, I can also meet and listen to members of other communities. Throughout my political journey, I have been supported by people from all tribes and communities across Kenya. We must reject tribal politics and embrace politics that unites all Kenyans. That said, I am proud to be a Kamba and I will always support my community. Equally, I will support all other communities across our beloved Republic of Kenya in every way God has blessed me.

I am genuinely speechless at the events that have all unfolded over the course of the past few days. Pjeg was the first time I and others did something huge with our lives. I made incredible friends, and was able to kick off my career as well as so many others here, but I'm at a complete loss of words of how to even describe my perception of it now. Effective immediately, I will be stepping down from my role as Kai Monteago. Thank you to everyone who has ever shown kindness and support to those of us who genuinely wanted to make this something special for you all. I am incredibly sad and upset about everything that has happened, but I will never regret my wants and efforts to give you all a fantastic experience over the last 4 years. Thank you all for everything. I am so incredibly sorry for everything that has happened.

What a ride. I have made the incredibly difficult decision to step down from Ava Labs. In this post I want to talk about how these last 4 years completely changed my life, grew me as a person in ways never imaginable, and what ill be doing next. In my time at Ava Labs I made lifelong memories, friends, and built things I will be proud of for the rest of my life. From launching AAA games, being exit liquidity for AVAX NFTS, partnering with the largest institutions on earth, to traveling the world and bonding with this incredible community. It is really hard to think of a better way I could have spent these years of my career. I am still incredibly bullish on Avalanche and the vision. There is a reason I was here for so long. Will be watching and chearing on as a community member. For now I will be taking some much needed rest. I will be taking my talents to the road, taking a multiple month cross country trip in a van. Nature, friends, and a lot of time thinking thoughts. It will be great to unwind as i figure out what's next. Finally promoted to a community member🔺

I kept remaking this and fixing so much that I am on the edge of giving up and accepting that my rig will never be okay :] I am not taking rig comms from now on. And will try to improve my skills first... Live2d as a whole started to just feel frustrating to me.. and i would rather just disappoint myself with low quality rig than others... I am really sorry to all my rig kids... You deserve better...

Doron Steinbrecher - who was freed from Gaza two weeks ago - recorded this message: "This whole thing takes me back to all the hostage videos I filmed and saw. But now I'm sitting comfortably on a couch with my family watching me in a warm and pleasant place. And as difficult as this is, it was important for me to film this video to convey my message and my request, and to show that I'm okay. It will take time and it's a process - it won't end in a week or two, but I'm here thanks to you, and I'm okay. Thank you, thank you to everyone who supported and embraced my family and are embracing me now, people who don't even know me. And I want to say thank you to all the soldiers and security forces. I'm watching and catching up on everything that happened in this surreal year, and I can see what an important and huge role they played both on October 7th and after, and I want to truly say - thank you. And to the families whose loved ones are still in captivity - you are not alone.
