In his first interview, Liam told Camilo Montoya-Galvez his biggest fear is being detained by ICE again. While Liam and his father were ordered released from ICE custody, his parents worry about the government’s continued efforts to deport the family to their native Ecuador, as well as the mental health of their son, who’s now seeing a psychologist. The Trump administration recently terminated the family’s asylum case and is asking a federal court to allow ICE to re-detain them, saying that they’re in the U.S. illegally.

This woman is not a serious law enforcement professional. She’s more like a partisan Democrat wearing a badge. Instead of minding her own business, Renee Good interfered with ICE while they were lawfully doing their jobs. Law enforcement doesn’t just get to pick and choose which laws they like based on politics. When officers start playing activist instead of enforcing the law, they become part of the problem. This woman is part of the problem.

When ICE conducted a targeted operation to arrest Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, an illegal alien from Ecuador, on January 20th, Conejo Arias fled on foot—abandoning his child. For the child’s safety, one of our ICE officers remained with the child while the other officers apprehended Conejo Arias. Our officers made multiple attempts to get the alleged mother who was inside the house to take custody of her child. Officers even assured her she would NOT be taken into custody. The alleged mother refused to accept custody of the child. The father told officers he wanted the child to remain with him.
