After backlash for criticizing migrant labor, an experienced White construction worker visited a site of Hispanic “builders” to see if they worked “as well as Americans.” Let’s just say, the findings spoke for themselves.

@thelillygaddis Cheap labor isn’t skilled, and skilled labor isn’t cheap

I've been in construction for over 40 years. I've seen great work from black, white, and Hispanics. What we have today is unlimited indentured servants that have driven down wages and working conditions of workers. If you treat and pay people like professionals, you will get professionals.

“But who will build the houses?” Someone else, hopefully.

That’s why you don’t hire beaners.

You don’t need to look at how bad Hispanic labor is in the USA. Just go to El Paso and look across the border. It’s a shit hole. Hispanics may work long hours for almost no money. But that doesn’t translate into skilled. Most are lazy and don’t really care about the work.

Houses aren't built to last. They're built to sell mortgages and debt. The house is merely collateral

this pic is from the video. But i was looking at new construction in Seattle. Mind you i’m probably 50ft away. I could see the sun beaming through the wood, only nails sticking through. Easily 1.5inch gap. No wood came close to touching. Best part, the roof was on.

Lmfao these are just bad workers. Mexican construction workers are still 10000x better then Americans.

As a Electrician I can vouch for this. We make a fortune off fixing the clearly unlicensed work illegals do. It's unfortunate for the unwitting homeowner who puts trust into scummy contractor's who promise craftsmanship but sub out to crews of illegals.

@catmrow0 Remember when construction crews built homes like they were their own.. however, 40 million immigrants later were building homes like third world countries.

As a young man, I hung drywall for years. We could always tell if a white crew, or a pepper belly crew framed in a building. It’s not even close man. It’s not even the same thing.

I’m white and built my own!

Who is passing this for inspection though. You hear these horror stories from ppl who have already moved in, but it’s like who the hells out there passing this shit?

This is nothing compared to the homes in Indiana. I went through one where 12 walls were over an inch out of plumb. Most were half an inch out of plumb. Zero percent chance they put a level on them.

Respectfully, no one will outdo a Mexican worker. I had two Mexican workers carry a full out sofa up four flights of stairs without a scratch. Hired a bunch of white guys to move out, they almost died.

We went from Larry haun to this crap

Getting paid a pittance for their work. Ya think they care how the house comes out when they live 10 to a 2 bedroom apartment? Import the 3rd World, get the 3rd World! They ALL have to go back!

I’ve worked with several Hispanic framers back in the 90s and NONE of them produced as shoddy work as what we’re seeing with these illegal alien hires now. I come from a proud line of Yankee craftsmen that take pride in our work. Sadly, those like me and my former colleagues have been replaced by cheap imported labor by these unscrupulous contractors. With the insanely high housing costs these days, this kid of shoddy work should be unacceptable. Blackrock sure doesn’t seem to care. To all home buyers: get a building inspector with weaponized-autism levels of scrutiny. That inspector will save you from future nightmares.

My house was built by honest, skilled, hard-working slaves in 1856.

All the Karens and Mr. Karens know it very well. As long as it looks like a nice house to their friends and they pay less, that is all they care about. I am the person who they call to fix it. I see it on a very regular basis. These places will lose value like used cars.

The cost of doing things wrong is enormous! You waste the time doing it, the materials used AND the time undoing it to do it again. So even if these guys work for FREE it's still more costly than doing the job right for a fair wage.

This is crazy, me and my best friend build additions and the level of incompetence I just saw, like I wanted to find out the location of this build and go make them pull down the roof and walls and start over, holy shit, measure twice, cut once, that roof is not safe!!!

Speed is not always quality. No on site supervisor to say shit to them.

Ooooh! I see this guy sometimes on tik tok! I wish MORE people would see these ! Me and the hubby have watched these all Latino construction workers throw up $7 million dollar homes in our neighborhood and I’m telling you right now - they ARE going to have issues down the road , whoever buys these homes. We watched them framing a house in the rain - never stopped working - never let the wood frame dry out - just kept on - that house is going to have a mold problem , guaranteed

Cheap labor equal shitty built homes, bring the American worker back!

This reminds me of the Obama years when people were trying to divide the white and black community. Now they’re trying to go against the Hispanic community. It’s honestly kind of sad how white people are always trying to make it an us against them type thing.

And y’all still out here paying $500k or more for these trash ass houses because it has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, “hardwood” flooring and some made in China fixtures.

100% staged

Let's see "Americans" do better in the conditions

Congratulations this is the dumbest propaganda. I’ve seen all day.

I’ve been framing since 97 He’s being a bit hard on those guys. They probably aren’t paid much and expected to do more work in a month than 90% of people do in their lifetime.

I've worked construction for many years and most of those small mistakes are common at most worksites, whether it's Mexicans or Whitesnor whoever. Often times carpenters (such as myself) come in and get paid to tidy slot of that up. He's being overly sensational, in short.

Lmao. Trust me, whether Hispanic or your good old fashion "american" there is no shortage of hacks in the construction field.
