After careful consideration following the coaching changes at UTRGV, I’ve decided to decommit and reopen my recruitment. I’m thankful to Mark Foster , Audra Larson , and Melanie Chandler for the opportunity and for investing in me throughout this process. Excited for the next opportunity. Roberto Del Toro (Coach...

Nov. 30, 2023 is a day I will never forget — it’s the day I tore my ACL. It was the day before I was supposed to play in the ECNL Tennessee National Selection Game. This is my first post since that day (my injury happened hours before I was going to post the first picture). For some people, they find strength in encouragement from others. For me, my road to recovery has been deeply personal and spiritual. I turned inward and upward — relying on my own personal drive, the love of my mom, dad and family and most importantly, my faith in God and his perfect love and support. Since Dec. 4, 2023, I have spent every day (except for Sundays) in either prehab, surgery or rehab. Six days a week without fail. It’s a grueling process. There are no shortcuts. There is no other way but through it. And I’m so grateful to Jaedyn Shaw for introducing me to the most incredible PT who, next to my God and family, has been by my side every day — Brandon Browning. Last Monday, at 23 weeks following my surgery, I passed my strength test that let me start the return to play process. I want to thank God for his miracles and his goodness, my parents for their unending love and support, Brandon Browning for continuing to push me every single day, and Coach Rockwood and all the coaches at BYU Women’s Soccer. I would not be here today without them. On July 1, I report to BYU and I have Aug. 15 circled on my calendar — it’s our first non-conference, regular season game against Wisconsin Badgers. Between now and then, I’m doing everything I can to be ready for that day. And while my journey on this path is not yet over, I’m ready to talk about it. Whether you’re the type who thrives off encouragement from others or, like me, more private and personal, I’m in your corner. If my experience or my story can help you in any way or if you just need someone who will listen and can relate, please reach out. I believe God gives us these experiences to both help us grow and to help us help others. If I can help, I want to. And this Father’s Day, I want to send a special thanks to both my Heavenly and earthly fathers who have been by my side every step of the way. They have been my rock every step of the way. I love them. Happy Father’s Day! Emotionally I find the separation from those I care about difficult to appreciate, but I inevitably try. Here’s my reflection on this beautiful journey. All organizations, people, and things eventually break down, decompose, and have their parts recycled to create new ones, continuing the evolutionary process of life. In the world of soccer, San Diego Loyal has completed its role in the city’s football evolution. It’s natural to feel sadness when we see things we deeply care about come to an end; after all, we develop attachments to people, things, and organizations. However, when we look at it from a broader perspective, it becomes apparent that the impact of San Diego Loyal on the local soccer community is truly remarkable and enduring. This team served as a vessel that not only brought beautiful memories, relationships, and recognition, but also raised awareness about the hidden soccer talents, fans, and community within our city. It showcased to the world that soccer was not just wanted but deeply deserved in our community. In doing so, it opened doors to new dreams and possibilities, including the arrival of the NWSL and now the MLS. The everlasting impact of Andrew Vassiliadis and every person associated with this organization has left an indelible mark on our city. It’s a beautiful legacy that will forever be woven into the history of both our community and the beautiful game of soccer. As a San Diegan, thank you to everyone that was part of this journey. You left a mark in me and this community. I am forever grateful. 🙌San Diego, We Are 🙌

I am beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to play Division I basketball at the University at Buffalo! 🐂💙 First and foremost, all glory to God. Thank You for the strength, guidance, and talent You’ve given me to reach this moment. None of this is possible without You. To my mom and dad… my biggest fans, my rocks. Thank you for your endless love, sacrifice, and encouragement. From the early mornings to the late nights, the pep talks, the dad workouts, and even the tough love. I’m forever grateful. To Brittany and Lilly—thank you for being my best friends on the court. Britt, you always had some weird face to lighten even the most stressful games 😂. Lilly, your competitiveness pushed me to push myself. AJ, you’ll always be my #1 fan—there’s never a highlight without your voice in the background screaming like I just hit the game-winner or talking trash to the opposing team. Brooklynn, I can’t wait to come back and coach you—get ready! To my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins—thank you for always showing up, cheering loud, and believing in me. Your love has meant the world to me every step of the way, and I’m beyond grateful that I’ll get to share this next chapter with you at UB. To my teammates: you’re more than teammates—you’re family. Thank you for pushing me, believing in me, and making this journey unforgettable. To my amazing coaches— Thank you all!! Coach Darren Fenn, Coach Matt Oswalt, Coach Nick O’Neal, Coach Mike Mills, Coach Erin Strassburg, Coach Sal Caterina, Coach Jeff Jachlewski. Each of you played a part in shaping me into the player and person I am today. Thank you for challenging me, guiding me, and always believing in who I could become. To my trainers—Howie Washington, Noah Hutchins, Rudy Bragg, and Mark Price—thank you for every hour in the gym, every rep, and every word of advice. You helped shape my game and my mindset. (Also… y’all know I was cooking you in those shooting drills 😎🔥.) To every school that recruited me and offered a scholarship—thank you. I’m honored by your interest and grateful for the opportunity. And finally, an enormous thank you to Coach Sharkey Kristen Sharkey and the entire University at Buffalo coaching staff @UBwomenshoops for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity!!! I’m fired up to officially become a Bull! I can’t wait to train, compete, and represent UB with everything I’ve got—on and off the court. I’m ready to grow, win, and be a part of something special!!! Let’s make history! 💙🐂 Let’s get to work! #GoBulls #HornsUp #Committed
