WATCH: Fed-up Montreal restaurant owner blasts pro-Hamas protesters with garden hose A viral video has been circulating online showing a group of pro-Hamas activists outside this Montreal restaurant called Zante. After multiple attempts to ask Montreal police to intervene and remove the protesters who were blocking the entrance to his restaurant, one of the co-owners decided to deal with them himself using a garden hose. On May 22, three days after the incident involving Zante restaurant and pro-Hamas activists, Rebel News spoke with co-owner Mr. Costa Dimitriou, who explained what happened. Unfortunately, the restaurant received multiple threatening messages and several hundred negative reviews on Google after the incident. On Instagram, we were also able to see calls to boycott the restaurant and to massively leave negative reviews. Mr. Dimitriou therefore had to contact Google with the police report in order to have those comments removed. The restaurant co-owner declined to speak on camera because he wants to move on and hopes the negative attention dies down. Now, let me explain what happened. Last Tuesday, May 19, several anti-Israel protesters held a 24-hour sit-in outside the office of Liberal MP Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture, right beside the restaurant. When Mr. Dimitriou arrived around 4:30 p.m., the protesters were already there. According to him, they had around three different loudspeakers and were shouting the usual slogans such as, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” and so on. The protesters, who already occupied a large section of the sidewalk, allegedly began moving directly in front of the restaurant terrace, blocking access to the establishment. Mr. Dimitriou reportedly asked them multiple times to clear the entrance and was allegedly told to “f*ck off.” As seen in the footage, protesters also harassed the valet, who is himself Algerian. Costa repeatedly asked police officers if they could contain the protesters so they would stop blocking the entrance and standing directly in front of the terrace where clients were trying to eat. According to Costa, police did not cooperate. The co-owner explained to me that several clients dining on the terrace were disturbed by the situation, and that multiple reservations were cancelled because of the protest. He even had to relocate guests staying at his hotel to rooms at the back of the building because of the noise caused by the protesters. At around 7:30 p.m., after receiving no cooperation from either the police or the protesters, Costa grabbed a garden hose in an attempt to disperse the protesters from the front of his restaurant. That was the moment police intervened — not against the protesters, but against the restaurant owner — warning him that he could not do that and threatening him with charges if he continued. The protesters remained there and were still present when he returned the next day. Costa also explained that he had to physically defend himself after one protester allegedly followed him onto the terrace, forcing him to push the individual back. Based on an image of the protester in question shown to us by the restaurant owner, we recognized the individual as Bara Abuhamed, one of the leaders of Montreal4Palestine previously arrested at Carrefour Laval for unlawful assembly and allegedly assaulting a police officer. He and his father are also known for leading Islamist street prayers in front of Notre-Dame Basilica. What was once a key community access route has now become a muddy, uneven stretch, badly damaged by floods and continuous movement of heavy trucks and tippers collecting raw materials from nearby sites. Patching efforts funded by local resident associations is repeatedly undone within days by the trucks, which residents claim are prioritized at the expense of small vehicles and emergency services. One resident recounted a recent tragedy, in which a woman lost her life after an ambulance failed to access the nearest health facility on time due to the condition of the road. The county, which continues to collect cess and other levies from the road users, has reportedly made no effort to repair the road or upgrade the poorly constructed bridges. Community members say tribal politics have also crept into the matter, alleging that because many of the road users are property owners perceived to be non-Kamba, leaders have suggested they shoulder the cost of building the road themselves. A peaceful demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, 26 April 2025, during which residents say they plan to voice their frustrations and demand urgent intervention.

U.S. citizen Sundas “Sunny” Naqvi, 28, gained national attention last month when she and a group of supporters, including Cook County, Illinois Commissioner Kevin Morrison, publicly insisted she was unlawfully detained by ICE officers for roughly 43 hours in early March. After an investigation, Wisconsin Sheriff Schmidt is now suing Naqvi for defamation, claiming she lied to the public when she said she was held in an ICE facility. According to the lawsuit, the sheriff says Naqvi was actually staying at a hotel near O’Hare and allegedly sending text messages from her room. Naqvi, 28, again gained attention last month when she and supporters, including Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison, publicly insisted she had been unlawfully detained by ICE officers for roughly 43 hours. Sheriff Schmidt also says this is not Naqvi’s first time lying to law enforcement. Court records confirm a 2019 case in which Naqvi filed a false police report with Skokie police, claiming she was sexually assaulted in a park. She later pleaded guilty, received two years of probation, and the case was dismissed. The sheriff is also suing Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison for defamation. HAWKERS IMPUNITY IN EASTLEIGH!. This young man, who was beaten up as though he were a thief, had only requested the Jam Street hawkers who have turned the road into an open market to allow him to pass so that he could attend to an emergency at home. Instead of letting him through, they completely blocked his way. When he stepped out of his car to reason with them, they turned on him and beat him until he ended up in the ICU. This is the height of impunity hawkers who are clearly in the wrong still believe they have the right to attack innocent people who also have the right to use the road. For how long will people continue to suffer in the name of earning a living? As a government, we cannot remain silent and watch people behave as if there are no rules and regulations governing our county. The law is very clear regarding hawking, illegal dumping after business, and blocking drainage systems. Such lawlessness will not be tolerated.

AN ATTACK OF COUNTY OFFICERS! It is the highest level of impunity for anyone to attack officers of the Nairobi City County Government while they are lawfully discharging their duties. Earlier today, our officers who went to remove an illegal structure that was blocking a public road were violently attacked and beaten by mobilized goons behaving like criminals. As a result, four of our officers are currently being treated in hospital after sustaining serious head injuries. This kind of barbaric act is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Let it also go on record that order and dignity cannot be compromised. Whenever we respond to complaints from members of the public, the same public must not turn against the very officers mandated to protect and serve them. We cannot live in a county where everyone believes the law should bend to their will. Let it be clearly understood assaulting county officers on duty is a grave offence, and we shall ensure that those who mobilized, aided, or participated in this attack are held fully accountable before the law. We will not allow a few lawless individuals to intimidate or harm officers who are working tirelessly to restore order and uphold the rule of law in our city. Our officers deserve respect, safety, and protection as they serve the people of Nairobi with dedication. An investigation by Hunterbrook Media has found that the American technology company Ubiquiti is supplying Russia with equipment used by the Russian military in its war against Ukraine, including for drone operations, circumventing sanctions. The deliveries are routed through third countries, including Turkey, Armenia, and Kazakhstan. According to Hunterbrook Media, Ubiquiti radio bridges - wireless long-range data transmission devices that do not require cables - are widely used by the Russian military to maintain communications between units and to operate drones. Approximately 80% of the radio bridges used by the Russian armed forces at the front are manufactured by Ubiquiti. There are effectively no alternatives to this equipment. As part of the investigation, a journalist posing as a Russian officer procuring equipment for his unit contacted online stores selling Ubiquiti products in Russia. Many of these retailers use the company’s brand in their domain names and website designs, and some explicitly claim to be "official" distributors. Around ten sellers agreed to supply equipment for the needs of the Russian armed forces. Hunterbrook Media also contacted Ubiquiti’s official distributors. The Armenian-based company ITsupport agreed to ship sanctioned equipment to Russia. The American firm Multilink Solutions initially stated it could deliver directly to Russia, later withdrew that offer, but subsequently agreed to arrange shipment via Turkey. An analysis of trade data shows that the total value of Ubiquiti shipments crossing the border into Russia surged 66% after the invasion despite U.S. and EU sanctions and export controls. Ubiquiti itself claims it is unaware of where its distributors resell the equipment. At the same time, as Hunterbrook Media notes, the company has not announced a complete withdrawal from the Russian market since the war began. Although Ubiquiti’s website no longer lists official distributors and resellers in Russia and Belarus, an archived version of the site from 2014 includes a list of Russian partners - many of whom continue to operate and sell Ubiquiti products in Russia. Manhattan, New York, Tuesday Evening: The New York City Police Department (NYPD) arrested dozens of protesters on Tuesday evening at an anti-ICE protest inside a Manhattan hotel, marking the first mass arrest under the new administration of New York City’s Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Protesters took over the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, pushing their calls to abolish ICE and for the agency to leave New York City. Officials with the federal agency, those carrying out the Trump administration’s stated goals of “mass deportations,” were allegedly staying at that hotel. The Hilton has faced calls nationwide to stop housing ICE and other immigration enforcement officials, as tensions escalate nationwide in response to the aggressive escalation under Trump. Arrests of the protesters were carried out by the NYPD unit in charge of counterterrorism and protest control, the Special Response Group (SRG). Following social media announcements, a snap protest organised by WA Socialists drew a large crowd to the site, which gathered outside the venue and blocked the entrance. Protesters were chanting slogans including “Shut it down, shut it down,” “Pauline Hanson go to hell,” and “Shame, racists, shame,” while also declaring that “Freo is a union town.” The group was reported to be deliberately disrupting and blocking the safe passage of attendees, verbally abusing patrons as they walked into the private event. WA Hon. Rod Caddies MLC was seen at the front of the venue while security guards manned the entrance. During the demonstration, alternative media was present on the scene, and it was reported that a protester attempted to steal a camera from a media representative while they were filming. Over 20 WA Police officers attended the scene after being called, with some officers reportedly heavily armed, as tensions continued outside the venue. Inside the venue, Rod Caddies stated that One Nation is all for the freedom to protest in a democratic country as long as it doesn’t violently assault or enter personal space. BOTTLE OF URINE HURLED AT PROTESTERS - Southampton Patriot protest FULL REPORT On Sunday, Southampton Patriots organised a protest and march against asylum seeker hotels. The hotel being used to house asylum seekers in their area is the Highfield hotel. There were minor disagreements at the beginning, as notable figures like Danny Tommo had come to support and promote the event, and seemingly accidentally started the march at the wrong time. Craig, the organiser and his security instructed everyone back onto the pavement to wait for THEIR march to begin. Once the march had started it was going well, good pace, chants and a good vibe. Things took a sharp turn when the march went under a bridge. Despite police manning the bridge, a man was able to throw a bottle of what is alleged to be urine, into the crowd of protesters. He was tackled by police immediately and arrested. Danny Tommo and others ran up the bridge towards the man, but were quickly pepper sprayed by police, Tommo taking the brunt. Tommo tells me "It was p*ss! It went all over me!" as he pours water on his face. Although it is unclear if the liquid on him at the time was urine, water, or pepper spray. After things had calmed down the march also passed a counter protest that consisted of Antifa and Stand up to Racism. Stewards tried to move the patriots on asap as to not cause friction, and the protesters listened for the most part, briefly stopped to counter chant, and then moved on. Nearing the park entrance where the speeches were arranged to take place, another confrontation had broken out, this time among the patriot protesters, and members of White Vanguard, who were clearly, not welcome. Protesters can be heard shouting and telling them to take their masks off, and when the protest enters the park, the group were swiftly apprehended by police.

INSANE UPDATE: Chris, DeYanna and Paige Ostroushko have all been granted RESTRAINING ORDERS against me for “harassment” and “assault”, after extensively lying about me in their petitions to the court. Not only did Chris allege that I’m almost 6 FEET TALL, but all three allege that I was the aggressor and have been waging a “hate and defamation campaign” as well as a “doxxing campaign” against them while portraying myself “as the victim”, when I “assaulted them first”. Chris, whose restraining order is the CRAZIEST of the three, is also petitioning the court to BAN me from speaking about the Ostroushkos on MY OWN social media accounts and is also trying to get me and my ENTIRE FAMILY banned from the county he lives in. He and Paige are also trying to get me COMPLETELY banned from the Whipple ICE Facility, including the public sidewalk “where the protesters are”. Paige then states in her petition that I backhanded her twice and then punched her “full contact in the face”. DeYanna stated in her petition that I grabbed her by the neck and “physically assaulted” her, all while she was simply trying to “protect her daughter”. The family made sure to have police show up to my house on three separate occasions (instead of just serving these to my lawyer) and due to Minnesota state law, Chris, Deyanna and Paige have already been issued ex parte restraining orders against me, meaning it’s now up to me to show up to court to prove that all of these allegations are untrue. Every time I think this family can’t get crazier they do!

The family made sure to have police show up to my house on three separate occasions (instead of just serving these to my lawyer) and due to Minnesota state law, Chris, Deyanna and Paige have already been issued ex parte restraining orders against me, meaning it’s now up to me to show up to court to prove that all of these allegations are untrue. Every time I think this family can’t get crazier they do!
