The same wet land Policy that didn't apply to Eko Atlantic City. The same that never applied to sand filling the middle of the water at Onitumo beach ⛱️ 😂🤣🤣

There has been inconsistency and lack of direction from the commissioner of environment. The major environmental collapse we have seen under his guidance has been eyesore and it clearly shows that his is not fit for the job.

No amount of demolition will stop flooding in Lagos. That city has been fkd beyond repair in terms of environmental issues.

That's why I keep telling the Commissioner that it is not only climate change. Yes, climate change is a factor, but the government is also not taking all the proactive measures it should. Some drainage projects have been abandoned, and after many houses were demolished, nothing meaningful was done to complete or restore the drainage infrastructure. This is why I keep saying this administration is not focused enough on these issues. Other governors governed this same city, but they remained focused and carried out their responsibilities diligently. I honestly don't understand it. This is why I believe stronger leadership like Fashola iron hand and stricter supervision are needed. All these excuses and the way some officials are handling these issues are simply not good enough.

Absolutely right about the danger of sharing those privileged information. Blows up in one's face when not put out in the public domain by the government itself.

These demolitions are despicable You will demolish and end up leaving rubbles on the sites and water ways They’re irresponsible

The government started it by reclaiming kuramo beach. So everyone follow suit. They’ve reclaimed all the lagoon facing pinnock estate. Orange island was reclaimed as well, periwinkle too. A lot.

Always, Tokunbo and his boss has failed woefully on waste amd flood management in Lagos. They are out of their depth on this. We thank them for their services to the state

I'm waiting for the day @tokunbo_wahab will come visit the infraction done to the canal from Mobile Road to FO junction on Ogombo road. A massive construction has blocked the continuation of that canal making it impossible to bridge and proceed. The effect is submerging the road

The commissioner is clearly out of his depth. It's too obvious. Also, there's a lack of transparency on the side of the government. Too bad, only the buyers suffer grave consequences.

Talk of corruption running in the Lagos state real estate business in collab with certain set of Lagos state government town planning & Lagos building control officials. Cause there is someone in those offices that got tipped for the work to continue. 💯
