Here we go again 😅 “Sir, your protein powder alarmed the systems.” I’ve heard it before. no biggie. Go ahead and give me a little pat down, swab some things, and send me on my way. After the routine though, i heard a new one: “Sir your PANTS are now alarming the systems - We need to do a more thorough pat down.” 😂 First of all, please don’t be scared to travel with your powders (protein, creatine, electrolytes, etc). I’ve been doing it for 20 years and this has happened maybe 4 times total. 2 RULES FOR GOING THROUGH SECURITY WITH POWDERS: Here’s the easiest way to cruise through security (and they’ll appreciate it too). 1 - Simply take them out and put them in a separate container when going through the x-ray machines. 2 - TSA will swab them and give them right back to you. Finally…please be nice to the TSA agents. This crew was amazing and had a great sense of humor about it. They have strict rules to follow and they’re just doing their job - to keep us all safe! And hey, you just might get a total body massage to start the day. 😜 Video cred: the one and only @realrachelpaul!! Has this happened to you???
