Does the BBC chairman arranging an £800,000 loan for the former prime minister not bring impartiality into question more? 🤨 I don’t see the issue with a football pundit having an opinion on a government policy. I’m sure you still had an expressed opinions, as do others,

So, Vanessa, how do you feel about Richard Sharp, BBC chairman donating £400k to the Conservative Party & Boris Johnson to get an £800k loan from his cousin? Is that impartial? Is that right? Do you need a third party to introduce you to your own cousin? #IStandWithGaryLineker

He didn’t bring the BBC into disrepute. He disagreed with the language of the Government. Or are those things the same now ???? 🤔 I’m so sad to see Vanessa, who I had admired as a serious person up until now, on this ghastly channel.

Gary has nothing to fall back on besides the principle stance of freedom of speech. Now, I doubt Gary is a man to take such a stand, lest he be branded a hypocrite, so it's gonna be interesting to see what the BBC do here.
