Allow us to reintroduce ourselves… The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is NASA’s next space observatory, set to launch as early as fall 2026. Named after NASA’s first chief astronomer, #NASARoman will have a field of view at least 100 times larger than NASAHubble. This field of view will help us better understand many cosmic mysteries including dark matter and dark energy. It will revolutionize our understanding of the universe by revealing countless cosmic objects, from stars and planets to galaxies and black holes. This milestone is the result of more than a decade of dedication and millions of hours of work by NASA and our industry partners. Their commitment is what’s making this moment possible and helping drive Gold Standard Science. Roman will help answer some of the biggest questions in science, investigating dark matter, dark energy, and the structure of the universe. Its images will be so large and detailed, there isn’t a screen in existence big enough to display them. This is just the beginning.

A state poses a threat to the United States when it has the will and ability to inflict harm. The IRGC still has the will to harm the US as evidenced by the ongoing attacks against US forces and our allies in the region. Until its will is broken (or more likely in my view, it's destroyed), the US is continuing to degrade its capability. ht Mike Emanuel 🇺🇸

This initial rollout will only include the priority cases (marked with an orange dot 🟠) 2/ New map: we now offer a cases view (which is the new default) and the original heatmap view which you can toggle on the top-right of the map pane. You can also choose to show counties. The styling of the map has also been improved. 3/ Location label: the location and approximate time of the event now shows up on the radar/satellite view. 4/ Added some bugfixes on the upper-air maps and mobile view Preview of the updates below:
