And after that not only does no-one track Wanganeen-Milera, Caminiti also floated down from his wing into so much space too. All the Dees just in a haze thinking 'eight seconds left, there's no other option but a long bomb down the middle' instead of switching on and looking at the available options. Complete negligence. Geez. (vid in 0.5 speed to illustrate)

It’s always interesting to go back and see what actions start a sequence like this. In the video on the left, it appears OSU #75 drives Mich #0 to the ground well after the play, which would be a personal foul. The video on the right shows us what really happened. Mich #0 grabs #75 by the face mask and pulls him down. To make matters worse, Mich #6 then shoves #75 down. What should have happened here, in addition to an ejection, Mich #0 should have been penalized for the face mask and Mich #6 should have been penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for the late shove down. Each would be enforced separately half the distance to the goal.

As a part-American, allow me explain the difference. I have been to many sporting events all around the USA, and of course, many in the UK and in Europe (because Aston Villa are massive). For Americans, sport is about entertainment. Big scores, no draws. What happens on the pitch is almost secondary to the performance. Hence pop songs between every play, all kinds of mascot and cheerleader shenanigans, the Armed Forces shenanigans before kick off. This vid was taken at Purdue at half time when they were getting absolutely pumped by Notre Dame. Embarrassing defeat: doesn’t matter, the show must go on. For Brits, football is something more existential. The seemingly unprompted unison chants, the camaraderie, the explosion upon scoring a goal… nothing in US sports matches it. Not even close. The old grounds and history are part of the charm. I wouldn’t swap battered old Villa Park for any of the US sports arenas I’ve visited. That doesn’t mean both aren’t a splendid day out, and I love my IU, Colts and Cubs, but the American sports experience does not come close to the British football experience for sheer emotion and spontaneity - EXCEPT in finals, when the jeopardy and tension is on a par.

An individual was noticed atop the roof of a Badlapur-Dadar AC local at Kalyan station on CR Mumbai, platform no. 7. Railway authorities immediately alerted the concerned Officials and initiated switching off the Over Head Equipment (OHE) at 2:40pm hrs to eliminate any risk of electrocution. Within minutes, the individual was safely brought down to the platform by 2:50pm. Following the successful rescue and a thorough safety check, the OHE was recharged at 2:52pm. The train continued its journey shortly after, with the entire life-saving operation concluding in just 12 minutes. The individual identified as Malka Fidre aged 25 years was handed over to the Government Railway Police for further action.

I have not seen enough about the decision from Mike Vrabel and Tim Kelly to go for 2 down by 8 last night. Here’s why I loved it: 1) NFL teams this season have been successful on 55% of two-point conversion attempts. The odds were in the Titans’ favor. 2) Will Levis was dealing in the 2nd half. 3) Titans still had all three timeouts and the two-minute warning. 4) Miami struggled to move the ball on offense all night. Their three scoring drives went for 12, 7, and 59 yards. 5) If successful on the two-point conversion, a stop on defense and a TD wins the game. If unsuccessful, you can still send it to OT. 6) Titans offense marched down the field, scored the TD to make it a one possession game and essentially told Miami, “we are going for two because we know you cannot stop us right now.” The odds are in your favor. It’s a good mathematical decision. You want to psych out an opposing offense? Give them the ball knowing they need to run the clock out, or you are going to have a chance to WIN the game, not send it to overtime. They saw what your offense just did to their defense. They saw your QB on the sideline screaming and hyping everyone up. Cutting the lead to six put WAY more pressure on the Dolphins offense. You want to hype up your defense? Put them back on the field knowing your offense just did their job. Put them back on the field knowing a stop and a TD wins it. At that point, they aren’t in the mindset of “we need a stop to have a chance to go to OT.” They are thinking, “let’s go out here, get a stop, and give our offense a chance to WIN.” There’s a fundamental difference in playing to WIN and playing NOT to LOSE. This was a decision by a coaching staff that was playing to WIN. Brilliant game by Vrabel and Kelly. Brilliant execution late in the game by the offense and the defense. Completely out-coached one of the best offensive minds in the game. #Titans

So why would you go ahead and assist them in this by back peddling and lead protecting, opening up two windows that weren’t there before? 1 – Stall points 2 – Allowing your opponent to solely focus on their offense as they no longer have to respect your attacks. You hear wrestlers in post-match interviews “We do this all the time in the room! Down 2 with 30 seconds left and working to find a takedown.” Not so much the opposite… “up 2 with 30 seconds left and just have to find ways to back up to protect the lead!” So why resort to something you don’t practice in the most crucial moments of a match—or your season? The body of a 28-year-old journalist was found in a septic tank on the premises of a contractor whom he had recently exposed for corruption in #Chhattisgarh. #MukeshChandrakar, who worked with a local news channel, was found dead on January 3 in #Bijapur district. Mukesh, who had been missing since the night of January 1, recently conducted an investigation against contractor #SureshChandrakar, exposing alleged irregularities in a Rs 120-crore road construction project in #Bastar. The expose had prompted the government to initiate an enquiry into the contractor's activities. Mukesh's elder brother, #YukeshChandrakar, filed a missing person report after his phone remained switched off following a meeting arranged by Suresh Chandrakar's brother, Ritesh, at one of the contractor's properties. On January 3, Mukesh's body was discovered inside the water tank on the premises of Suresh's property in Chattanpara, where he was last seen. "The victim's brother informed us that Mukesh had been missing since January 1. We initiated action, scanned CCTV footage and also found his last location. We found Mukesh's dead body inside a tank in the evening today," a senior police official said. The police acted swiftly, arresting Suresh Chandrakar from #Hyderabad and Ritesh from #Delhi, sources said. One labourer who helped in getting rid of the body has also been arrested. Several suspects, including those from the contractor's circle, are being questioned, police said.

Before telling you about butterflies generally, let me tell you something spectacular about THIS butterfly. Its name is Alcon blue butterfly. It is one of the most famous examples of an extreme social parasite in the butterfly world. How the deception works: After the female Alcon Blue lays her eggs and they hatch, feeds on the plant for about 2–3 weeks, going through its first three instars (growth stages). When it reaches the fourth instar, the caterpillar drops to the ground and waits. It secretes chemicals (allomones) from a special gland that mimic the exact scent profile of the brood (larvae/pupae) of a myrmica ants. When the worker ants encounter the caterpillar, they'll mistake it for one of their own lost larvae, and carry it back into their underground nest. In some populations, the caterpillar even makes tiny sounds that imitate the “queen ant” calls, which elevates its status inside the colony. Ants will actually prefer feeding the caterpillar over their own larvae! The caterpillar then becomes a ruthless predator and eats hundreds of ant grubs over the next 10–22 months. After almost a year (or even two in some cases), the caterpillar pupates inside the ant nest. The adult butterfly emerges, inflates its wings, and crawls out of the nest (often at dawn when ants are less active). The ants don’t attack it because its scales reduce friction and it may release calming chemicals.

To finish the series: - Deterministic chain-seeded genetic computation. To finish the series: - Deterministic chain-seeded genetic computation. We ran a chain-seeded genetic optimiser for 32 generations and proved every single step in zero-knowledge, then folded all 32 proofs into one. The whole lineage verifies on Kaspa in a single transaction, post-quantum. You can open the tx and check it yourself. What it is: a tiny program, an evolutionary search over a 16-value genome , that mutates and selects for a lower-cost circuit design, seeded by the Kaspa chain. Over 32 generations it drove its target circuit's scored constraint count down (best target ~72 → ~50; trending down, though it's a sawtooth it rotates through three circuit types). The part that matters: every one of those 32 steps ran inside a zero-knowledge VM and was proven correct a step that didn't compute correctly simply won't verify. Then all 32 step-proofs were folded into ONE. That proof is 222 KB exactly the size of a single step, and it stays that size no matter how many generations you add. (The catch, stated plainly: folding more generations costs the prover more time; only the final proof size is constant.) Kaspa verified the entire 32-generation lineage in one transaction: 7504fa32f74aa028301290299276a707cf98ffc2766b1be0daed4c5c41883f15. COUNTERFEIT GOODS WORTH MORE THAN R160 MILLION SEIZED, MANUFACTURING PLANT SHUT DOWN DURING RECENT NATIONWIDE OPERATIONS The South African Police Service (SAPS), in collaboration with its crime-fighting partners, continues to record commendable progress in dismantling criminal networks involved in the illegal trade in counterfeit and illicit goods. This week, police collectively seized counterfeit goods worth more than R160 million during multiple takedown operations in different parts of the country. The National Counterfeit and Illicit Goods Unit led a joint takedown operation in Bellville on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, which resulted in the seizure of counterfeit goods worth more than R117 million. The multidisciplinary team also comprised members from the Western Cape Counterfeit and Illicit Goods Unit, Crime Intelligence, the National Intervention Unit (NIU), Public Order Policing (POP), officials from the South African Revenue Service (SARS) Customs Division, and brand protectors. The team seized over 130 000 counterfeit items, including branded clothing, sports apparel, sneakers, caps, sunglasses, and watches. In Gauteng, police executed several takedown operations in Johannesburg, Tshwane, Meyerton, Vanderbijlpark, and Vereeniging throughout the week. In one operation, the Gauteng Counterfeit and Illicit Goods Unit, with support from various role players, shut down a counterfeit manufacturing plant operating in a medical building in the Johannesburg CBD. Counterfeit goods and label-printing machines worth over R28 million were seized. Additionally, a takedown operation in KwaZulu-Natal resulted in the seizure of a large consignment of counterfeit cigarettes worth over R15 million in Sydenham. These operations form part of ongoing national efforts to address the illegal trade in counterfeit and illicit goods in the country. The illegal trade in counterfeit goods not only undermines the economy of South Africa, but also threatens consumer health and safety, infringes on intellectual property rights, and erodes legitimate businesses.

My experience as a Defenders fan going to STL America's Center & The Dome for an away game. This was a solo trip, did not bring my family on this one. The St. Louis Battlehawks home games truly are one of the special environments for United Football League. I’ve been to 4 AWAY games for DC Defenders over the last 12 months and the environment for this one was fired up! They definitely should NOT move STL to a soccer stadium if they keep showing out like they did yesterday. I got to my hotel at 1AM on game day after a late flight from the west coast. I woke up 6 hours later, walked towards the stadium and randomly caught the STL player walk-ins. Then, I walked over to the tailgate and met up with The Bottom Line and enjoyed some mimosas and breakfast burritos with Ed Ploeger and his gang. Thanks for the hospitality! I was able to get him a signed Sam Kidd jersey as a thanks for all he does for the UFL community! After the tailgate, got in for gate drop at 0930, and went straight down to the field. I was able to say hi to a few players and talk with Steven McCrane as his son was nailing 50+ yard field goals with ease. Chatted up and made peace with a few STL fans around me. Once the game started, they had the place LOUD, and my watch kept alerting me that my hearing was getting damaged 🤣 . Being there for the first ever 4 point field goal by Matt McCrane made the travel worth it. After the home fans had a few rounds of beers, the heckling began (which was expected), but I had to pop about 6 beach balls/🎈 as I became the 🎯 for drunk fans as the only DC fan in the section. I tossed the balls back a few times until I immediately got hit with about 3 balls in a row. So that part was a bit of a let down, as I was just trying to enjoy a game. The halftime show was great. Overall, the game experience itself left something to be desired with the penalties and getting harassed by fans who were clearly recording trying to get rage bait engagement on 🎥. Probably won’t be going back to a STL game again, but I’m glad got to check it out! Pregame/Tailgate: 5/5 Halftime: 5/5 Game experience: 3/5 Getting to/from stadium: 5/5
