It's like they consider hygiene their enemy. I get it, all cultures were like that hundreds of years ago, but it's no longer hundreds of years ago. They have had enough exposure to know an upgrade is needed.

What's unhygienic here? As a Bengali we have been eating handmade sweets made by sweet shops, and i know how hygienic they keep their hands and fingers. Plus no one in the decades long selling of the sweets anyone complained. Hands of an artisan are better than machines.

For Indians, I can bet this is one the most hygienic way to make some cake. I have seen videos much worse than this. Stop cribbing and believe in your immunity.
