This is the super lazy version of an illegal play. The better is having the wide out hide in the group of players being swapped out as they come off the field before the play. In both scenarios it’s not legal, but this one is blatant…also hilarious.

It’s illegal for two reason. A. They are coming out of a TO(it appears) when the ball is blown in all players must be inside the numbers. He clearly was not. B it’s illegal to deceive a team like this. It’s a judgment call but it’s pretty clearly an example of it

They cleared a different play with head official, saying the player would make his way to the numbers, not the sideline. It was like a little inception number to make the officials hesitate. Reach out to the head official ! The true truth is even dirtier!
