After this absolute shocker from Wayne Brown last night, it's obvious why the Mayor has been hiding from the media

Wayne Brown continuing to struggle to answer the most obvious questions on @SaturdayRNZ with Kim Hill this morning:

Pay attention to Prime Minister Hipkins' face as Mayor Brown angrily confronts the media and blames his poor comms on having "too many spokespersons for the council." Wayne's now three for three in shocking media performances in the last 24 hours #HatTrick

In today's press conference, Mayor Brown was oddly vague and noticeably irritated to be asked if he was in his office on Friday

Adding this morning's interview to the list of reasons why Wayne Brown should never be the sole communicator in any situation, let alone a crisis:
