FOX: Americans don't understand why the cuts have to come from programs like SNAP -- food stamps for the poor -- and Medicare for the poor. BROOKE ROLLINS: I think it's really important to note that the entire media apparatus has been against this bill from the beginning

It’s like Mitch said, they believe their base will just “get over it” instead of ever voting against them. This mission to satisfy the rich (who will never be satisfied) is going to shift the independent majority of voters away from the GOP.

@AntiToxicPeople The real answer is that Republicans coddle the rich and screw over everybody else

@AntiToxicPeople Ah...well...Yeah - the media's been against the bill, the American people have been against the bill, even some Republicans have been against the bill, - because it's bad! It's not a Democratic or Republican thing - the bill is bad and shouldn't pass!

Brooke Rollins is right—media elites hate any bill that threatens their narrative. But let’s be real: The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1) cuts $230B from SNAP while letting Big Pharma’s $150B Medicare overbilling scam slide. The problem isn’t trimming waste—it’s targeting the wrong waste. SNAP error rates are under 6%, but D.C. lets hospital conglomerates charge $40 for a Tylenol. Redirect those cuts to bloated medical billing middlemen and defense contractors, not families. Audit the grift, not the grocery budget. The real scandal is who gets protected when Congress sharpens its knives—see the receipts:
