After 'vibe coding' six prototypes with Grok 3 as a non-coder (hat tip to xAI), I began picturing an AI-first IDE for non-coders. I envision a mind map-driven user experience (UX) that allows anyone with no coding skills to visualise their entire game (or software) at a glance and... navigate to any aspect of it with ease. Users could modify the values of any feature through intuitive UIs generated on-the-fly by the AI. The mind map would be organic, reorganising itself dynamically to reflect the latest version of the game. All code would remain accessible to the user but abstracted away unless they choose to interact with it directly, bypassing the LLM chat interface. As andrew chen noted in his post about the future of vibe coding, as we bring non-coders into the software and game development market, we’ll need a more visually-driven IDE to help these newcomers create better games and interactive experiences. Love this. This is the type of learning innovation that I’m seeing opportunities in as well. Instead of traditional learning why not learning while vibe coding. Current IDEs don’t really help here. But everyone who is vibe coding wants to learn how the code works more. That’s what I’m finding personally anyway
