to be fair to him, he did not serve as governor of adamawa. the presidency of nigeria cannot focus on their own state. so the question no really apply. or did she ask buhari why his state remained poor despite him being president ?

I am saying you can't blame him for not impacting Adamawa. That question is unfair to him. He was not their governor. If you blame him for Nigeria's woes, that's fair, he was VP but you can't question him for the woes of Adamawa since he did not govern them at any point

How can you blame a sitting vp that was not governor of Adamawa state. As a vp or a president I’ll like to think you’ll be a nationalist. Focusing on one particular state is a job of a governor. In terms of policy making, it has a collective impact not only tied to one part of the country.

To be fair to Atiku, that question was a misplaced question. He was never governor of Adamawa but VP of Nigeria. Let's judge him for his time as VP and we will see that he didn't do well, except that he kept empowering his rich friends hoping they would bankroll his election.
