Here’s the “full context” since Barrett stans want to flip out in my comments. He said it and then used it as a way to flirt with Dee, which ALSO pissed me off. I don’t think Barrett is homophobic. That was not my point. I’m not an idiot. He has mostly gay friends. But for someone who has so many gay friends, he should definitely know the optics of saying something like this. And using the word gross in reference to cuddling with a gay person. And I’m allowed to point that out. Thanks.

The best man is the groom’s brother. In his speech he describes how hard it was for him to do so because even though they lived together, they drifted apart and he didn’t know his brother as well as others. During his whole speech, after almost every sentence he makes, the crowd erupts in laughter, you can tell he was uncomfortable, it made him feel like he was doing something wrong. He was trying to reconnect with his brother and offer his support and yet was laughed at the whole time. Do you think the groom chose him as a joke because he was made to?

Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. This man was shopping at his local store and on the way out this is what he saw. This woman was being accused of shoplifting. The Loss Prevention team tried to talk to her but she was resisting and not cooperating and at one point tried to flee. So two men entered a wrestling match with this woman, you can hear her proclaim that they are hurting her. The man pulls out his phone to record it, another employee is now trying to block his recording. He holds a piece of clothing in front of the camera to block him from recording what is going on. He even goes as far as saying she’s under arrest even though the police aren’t there yet. The man recording was asked to leave and was escorted out even though he did nothing wrong. At what point would the store not want this man recording, were they doing something they weren’t supposed to do, should he have helped her?
