Ndakangopinda muHostel, dorm prefect gave me a room and a bed. I think I arrived after everyone else had been briefed about dorm life so I was just figuring my own way through. lol Murewa High was something else

We were called SPROGS, to date dont know what it means. Had a mission statement and a motto of our own😂. As long as you are in the school premises if someone shouted “sprog” even when in the loo you run! It did teach us respect in a way but yeah what an experience

Surprised there are "welcome cultures" which go beyond the usual head speech at the assembly point on a cold January morning. At out beautiful Nyakatsapa High School, "magede" would soon follow after that short welcome remarks at the assembly.
