After his inspiring victory yesterday at the Houston Open, Gary Woodland spoke about his decision to open up about his PTSD after recovery from brain surgery: “I've talked to some veterans that told me you can't do this on your own, you've got to talk. “And it was just time. My therapist, my wife more than anybody keep telling me I've got to take care of myself before I can help people. That's hard, I want to help people. “I've realized after the first four weeks when I played how hard it was on me, that I had to take care of myself because I was getting off. “That interview was the first step in that.” This is great advice from Gary on the importance of talking about mental health issues. It’s probable that the freedom Gary felt after that interview at The Players helped him win this week for the first time since the 2019 US Open.

MY NOSE BROKE… Again. As most of you know, I’ve broken my nose more times than I can count. The first major break was so severe the doctor told me it was one of the worst he’d ever seen. It required two surgeries just to put it back together, and I was strongly advised to never let it get hit again. I didn’t listen. It broke again. Another surgery. And honestly… it never healed the way it should’ve. Over time, the trauma caused scar tissue to take over, leaving me with a nose that didn’t function properly and didn’t look right either. So for the final time, I trusted Dr. Jay Calvert to take on what was basically a reconstruction job — reducing the scar tissue, restoring proper breathing, and rebuilding the structure from the inside out. Surgery was a success. Now it’s a full year of recovery before we see the final result. Grateful to Dr. Calvert and his entire team for the care, precision, and patience through this process. 🙏 Onward.

Alright, the BFU report on that Lufthansa 787 nose gear collapse at Frankfurt is out. And it’s exactly what I figured the second I saw the video. They were troubleshooting an MLG door control fault. Book says move the gear lever to UP to do the test. Problem? The nose downlock pin never went in. It was sitting in the avionics compartment . Main gear pins were fine.. nose one wasn’t. I’ve done this exact kind of job. On a B787-10. I had an SLG actuator fault after a hard landing. Had to pressure up the hydraulics and put the lever UP to deactivate it. Same thing on a B787-8 with an MLG control solenoid issue. Every single time the AMM and the DDG hammer the same warning: install the downlock pins first or you risk the gear retracting on you. You can’t just flip that lever up casually either.. there’s an override you push while you lift it. But once you do, if the pin’s missing… hydraulics do what hydraulics do. B787s have tons of redundancy in the air. On the ground during maintenance? That physical pin is the last line of defence. That’s why the main gear stayed put and the nose didn’t.

MICHAEL MOVIE 🍿 First off , Michael Jackson should not be dead 🙄 it makes me so mad every time I think about it . In my opinion , I feel like all the lawsuits & people not wanting to be involved , ruined what could’ve been one of the best Michael movies because the ACTORS ate down & all of the music performances gave me chills , but the story was moving so FAST and so much was cut out , that we couldn’t even get into depth of what really happened but overall i STILL enjoyed it and recommend it if you are a fan of Michael . After the nose surgery , Jafaar Jackson looked just like Michael , it was scary how identical it was. All of the performances reenacted were flawless . Colman Domingo ate as Joe Jackson & he had me mad talking about Michael “big nose” but he had the same mf nose . As important as he was to the Jackson 5’s success, he also was responsible for their insecurities and trauma 🙄 Juliano was really good as young Michael too. It was very believable . Also, it didn’t appear until 2002 on Guess Who’s Back. I got the receipts for all this information as well.

I’ve been sick twice in a row now. I recovered for about a week, then got sick again. It started after filming GR last week, when PM 2.5 was really heavy. On top of that, I’ve been working a lot, and the weather keeps changing…sometimes it rains, sometimes it’s cold. So what season even is this supposed to be? That’s why i ended up getting sick. My nose has been burning for the past 2–3 days like the entire nasal cavity was irritated. On the day i went to dye my hair, it was just nasal irritation, so i rinsed my nose like usual. But when i woke up and went to the set yesterday morning, my voice had already changed and i had a fever. So pls take care of yourselves too, everyone.
