After years using autopilot, I was able to see Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in action on city streets in Rome. As a passenger I was astonished by the driving smoothness, and how it handled traffic, roundabouts, pedestrians and works on the street, better than most humans.

At first I questioned its decision but then I saw the person slowly crossing in a wheel chair. I never thought I’d be posting one of these Tesla clips; however, Tesla Self Driving, saved me and my daughter’s life tonight. We are in Michigan right now for her horseback riding competition, it is so foggy tonight, and driving back to our hotel a car that could not see in the fog was driving in our lane heading towards us. I was paying attention, and the oncoming car did not look like it was in our lane; however, the Tesla could see better than I could, and knew it was in our lane, and it took quick action to move us out of harm’s way. Unbelievable. This is life-saving technology happening now!!! Interesting edge case here. Driving on the Embarcadero, Tesla Self-Driving 14.3.1 stopped abruptly thinking that the bus was going to cut in front of it. Instead, it was driving onto the train tracks for some reason.

For years, Tesla said Autopilot was 10x safer than driving manually. If Autopilot really was safer, why is Omar calling for it to be killed?

Stoke-on-Trent at 6am on 20 July. Staffordshire Police said Mohammed lost control of his car after overtaking another vehicle on a bend and ignored his passenger's pleas to slow down. The 21-year-old's passenger suffered a broken collar bone and fractures to her forearm in the crash. No one inside the takeaway was injured. Mohammed was jailed for two years and two months after admitting causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and using his mobile phone.
