My Tesla sees more than me. I was confused when FSD started to slow down. Nothing was in the road. Then I realized the right pillar camera saw a baby deer running alongside me. It slowed and braked until the deer ran across the road. The deer and I both arrived home safely.

Today I had my first demo drive in a Tesla. It was also my first time ever sitting in one. This was the first car I’ve ever sat in the driver’s seat of where I didn’t touch the steering wheel for over 20 miles. Before I even got to the car, the people who had demoed it before me were an older married couple who were absolutely euphoric. They thought it was so cool that the car could drive itself. The Tesla employee told me this happens all the time. People come back from demo drives and tell the next test driver that they’re about to have an amazing experience. Little did I know, I’d end up carrying on the torch to the next couple demoing it after me. There was a ton of construction where I demoed the car, and FSD handled the entire drive extremely well. And yes, it can go through a drive-thru and stop at each window. The only thing I had to do was tap the pedal because it wouldn’t leave on its own, but it was still wild seeing the AI stop perfectly at the second window and wait. There are a million things I could write about why a Tesla feels like a better car and how much more it offers compared to a regular car. But for now, I’ll stick to FSD. There were only two moments that made me a little uneasy. The first was pretty minor. The car slightly hesitated going up a driveway, but quickly made up its mind. The second was more noticeable. I didn’t realize the car was nagging me. Once I touched the steering wheel, nothing happened, so I pulled it right a little harder, then let go. After that, the car turned left and crossed a double yellow on a backroad. (and yes I know you can sue the volume knob) I’m not totally sure if it was trying to pull over or what it was doing. I wanted to see how it would handle the situation, but there were cars coming, so I took over and corrected it. One of the coolest moments was when I thought FSD was glitching because it came to a complete stop in the middle of a busy road. Then I looked around and realized why. On the right side, there was a bicyclist waiting at a yellow crosswalk. The cars behind me didn’t honk, and the Tesla stopping actually incentivized another car in the right lane to stop and let him pass. The car is almost too nice to pedestrians, because 99.999% of humans would’ve blown through that, especially with no flashing light. For 99.9% of the drive, the car navigated confidently and smoothly. It was a real “feel the AGI” moment. Please do not let the media, the general public, or anyone else convince you that this technology is just some kind of auto assist or glorified cruise control. This is undoubtedly getting extremely close to feeling superhuman. You still have to pay attention to the road, but after experiencing it myself, I’d be shocked if HW4 Teslas aren’t unsupervised within the next couple years. The car was extremely smooth. There was no harsh braking, and it even avoided something in the road that I didn’t see. Driving with FSD made me realize I probably wasn’t driving as well as I could be. Hopefully, eventually, everyone’s car can be as mindful as a Tesla. I’ve never seen a brand so far removed from the public’s sentiment. I’m so happy I ordered one.

We are in Michigan right now for her horseback riding competition, it is so foggy tonight, and driving back to our hotel a car that could not see in the fog was driving in our lane heading towards us. I was paying attention, and the oncoming car did not look like it was in our lane; however, the Tesla could see better than I could, and knew it was in our lane, and it took quick action to move us out of harm’s way. Unbelievable. This is life-saving technology happening now!!! After years using autopilot, I was able to see Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in action on city streets in Rome. As a passenger I was astonished by the driving smoothness, and how it handled traffic, roundabouts, pedestrians and works on the street, better than most humans.

By far the most unsafe driving by FSD HW#3 in my 8 year experience with it. Navigation gets confused and takes this left instead of the suicide lane next intersection. I was hoping it would slow down to a stop but it did not. The car to the right was thankfully paying attention and acted defensively to prevent an accident! Navigation is the biggest problem of FSD

Around 8:55 am on Boxing Day 26th December 2025, as I was coming back from my night duty, I saw this car doing like 80-90 miles/hr on a 60 mile/hr road. Temperature was 1 degree Celsius and roads were icy. I was worried because that road has loads of bends and it was crazy to see someone speeding like that on that road. Not up to 3 minutes, this chap approaching a bend suddenly went on his brakes, then lost control as the car started skidding. To our left is a hill, and beyond this hill is a river. This guy climbed that hill with speed. He drove on it for like 5 seconds while trying to re-establish control of the car, then the car came down and he struggled for another 3 seconds and then regained control, he sped off and continued driving. By this time, I had slowed down and was observing what was happening as I was just behind him. The broken parts of his car littered the road but this dude continued driving and speeding. This got me worried, he had a near death experience, every normal person would stop, park and soak in whatever that happened, and most especially, see his car and the damage done. This guy continued speeding like a mad man. I couldn’t call police because I was driving and not allowed to touch my phone, but I was dead worried this dude might be driving a stolen car ( because how do you smash your car in this economy and not park to even see the damage?). The tyre might be damaged and if he continues speeding like that, can have a tyre burst and crash into on coming vehicle. So I made up my mind to follow him. I started flashing lights, he noticed and slowed down, then I went close but he sped off again. I followed him again and continued flashing lights. I was just policing him until he parked and I double crossed him and had a go at him. I sha called the police and passed his details to him. So I’m posting the plate number in case someone stole your car, definitely must be this guy!! Contact police, they have the details and the area the incident took place.

Elderly man on mobility vehicle got hit by a driver at a crossing. Me personally when I did drive would slow down if I could not see the whole crossing just in case this happens. The elderly man was apparently ok but was bleeding with his injury’s jeepjourneys….

I had the harshest braking on fsd 14.2 going ~65mph on the interstate today. I just pulled the video footage & I'm sharing this for transparency. It was 30 degrees this morning & I defrosted the car before driving. It appears the camera still didn't have full visibility yet & was driving up until this point with no red wheel errors / visibility issues. Fsd braked hard when it saw the VDOT person in the shoulder but it overreacted IMO cuz it shouldn't brake that hard if the person isn't moving towards the lane. After seeing that haze on the camera, idk why fsd wasn't throwing any warnings. I did have a red wheel error this afternoon but that footage doesn't show any visibility issues. Be vigilant & always be ready to intervene / disengage. Luckily I was ready and hit the accelerator instantly to avoid a worse situation. I also disengaged afterwards & submitted a voice note.

Critical Disengagement on FSD v14.3.7. Context: The car needed to leave the parking garage and go to HEB. It started from the second floor, made its way to the top floor, and I believe it tried to find a path through this metal wire fence. If it had gone through that, it was a 6 story drop to the ground. In the dashcam clip, it is clearly visible. You can see the car is at 4 mph throughout the whole turn and is not slowing down. It wasn't trying to park because the route was set to leave the parking garage, not park in it. Either way, driving at 4 mph inches from the fencing is not okay. I have an interior GoPro recording of the whole situation. It actually tried to drive into the fencing again after I restarted FSD. In thread 👇 Obviously since I disengaged, we don't know what it truly would have done. Maybe it would have made contact and stopped. This was as far as I was going to take it as someone responsible for the vehicle, so I believe this disengagement was fair. The incident happened at an Indiana car wash while 18-year-old Anna Harycki was working. "I picked up the pressure washer and started spraying down their car.
