Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison pushed back on DHS claims that the state is not cooperating with ICE, telling CBS News’ Nicole Sganga that Minnesota is "following the law as written" and will not use state resources to carry out federal immigration enforcement. Michaelson: I don't believe that that Putin is controlling Trump in some weird conspiracy way. But if I were Putin and I were controlling Trump, it's hard to find something that he's done that I wouldn't support, right? I would want to alienate our allies. I would want to devastate our position of economic dominance. I would want to weaken the U.S. Bond market. I would want to ensure that our allies can't rely on us, including cutting off USAID and all of the other ways in which soft power used to be exercised. So again, I'm not alleging a conspiracy, but it's quite a confluence of interests between the dictator of Russia and the dictator here.

Just here to celebrate the game of basketball...They're coming to watch. People at home complaining about the game and the intensity of it. I don't think we'll ever get past that, but to see everybody still here, showing up, doing their jobs, pushing the game forward through this weekend, you go around the city, it's so much energy in the city, so many past greats...representing the game of basketball. I just think it's way bigger than that this weekend. We can talk about who plays harder...all that stuff don't matter. I just really feel like this is a great weekend to bring so many people together and help push the game forward"

"Two of the three homicides committed in Minneapolis in 2026 have come at the hands of federal immigration agents," Ellison said during his opening statement.
