Very nice I've started to get it to draw mermaid diagrams on prs to make the changes easier to understand.

I actually tried to vibe code something similar and have some pretty formed opinions on how this visual layer/canvas should look like and what they need to do. If you want to shoot me a DM and I'm happy to spar some thoughts!

I thought about building something like this as well (as a claude/codex extension) and maybe spin it into a commercial product/company, but I think the model labs are going to build this in the close/mid term themselves since it's so close to their product what do you think?

Merging chat and canvas is the right call. The split-pane pattern always felt like translating between two apps. Curious how you handle undo: if chat edits the canvas, is history per message or per node?
