This was the case that day too. It was a Sunday, Friendship Day. Maybe they felt bad because they had to wait...There is nothing about dress code here...We did not deny entry to anyone...We just have one requirement, visit by making a reservation so that there is no inconvenience to anyone. The restaurant has been running at full capacity for 15 days now. What can I do? People are visiting here, we offer good food and quality service. We have experienced staff here. Cancel Your Plans, I Found a Pigeon!!! 🤪 Photography changes the way you see the world. I know it has for me. It strips away the adult filter and brings back that childlike curiosity. Suddenly, everything has a story worth noticing and when you slow down to look, you start to learn something magical! Take this pigeon. One of the most common birds out there but look at that iridescent shimmer catching the light as it struts around, shopping for just the right piece of nesting material. This bird knows it’s hot stuff. It even paused to look right at me, like, “This is my good side.” Haha. Slow down. Look closer. The world’s been showing off this whole time. You just have to stop and notice. You might be surprised by what you learn about it… and about yourself.

Insane video shows the drastic change in water level and devastation caused by the flooding in Western NC. Jay-Paul Thibault in Burnsville, NC filmed how quickly the water rose and the destruction that followed. Unfortunately this is the sad reality for hundreds if not thousands of families. Please keep praying, keep giving, keep sharing, and keep helping. Fri 9/27 - 8:14 AM 1:48 - "I was just told this flood is going to exceed the flood of 1916 which dwarfed the flood of 1977." (The water is at the 1000-year level) 3:46 - "I think I'm going to lose the bridge." Fri 9/27 - 8:27 AM 5:56 - "Well there's not much I can do about it but the bridge is gone. Believe it or not- Everything you see in this frame is falling. 😅 When I first reached the International Space Station, I had this strange hesitation: if I let go of something, won’t it just fall? On Earth, that’s exactly what happens. In space, though, my early instinct was to politely hand over items to crew-mates (one of them is quietly smirking in the background at my dismal lens changing skills 😅) instead of just releasing them. The funny part? They were just as cautious at first—so we ended up passing things around like an overly careful game of “hot potato.” Here’s the catch: nothing actually falls away in orbit. As you see in this video if I let go of the lens, it doesn’t drop—it hovers. Why? Because both the lens and I are falling at the same speed around Earth. No relative falling = no “down.” This idea goes all the way back to Isaac Newton’s legendary thought experiment: imagine standing on a tall mountain and throwing a ball. Toss it gently—it arcs down nearby. Throw harder—it travels farther before dropping. Throw it so fast that as it falls, Earth’s surface curves away beneath it? The rate of drop matches the curvature of the Earth. Congratulations—you’ve just put that ball in orbit. It’s falling forever, but it never hits the ground. That’s what orbit really is: perpetual free fall. Astronauts don’t feel weightless because gravity has disappeared—gravity up here is still about 90% as strong as at Earth’s surface. We feel weightless because we and everything around us are constantly falling together.
