u/Zondersaus: I completely agree. Pirate panicked and.. that fine. Admit it, say you are very sorry for those who died and will send some bags or whatever. But because his persona is about him being pretty much a genius he can't do that. So everyone just hates him for being weird and acting like blinking away was the only logical move.

I call this pulling an Elon musk. Pretending you’re a genius and that you barely make mistakes to the point of where you can’t admit your wrongs or your image will be shattered. We’re all human.

The lead said to run. The lead screwed everybody. From my perspective the lead got 2 people griefed.

Let's be real here. The people who died don't care about their characters, they care about the content the could farm with that character. Now that it's gone, they've turned to drama farming to stay relevant. What an absolute shit show.

I don't disagree that he played it poorly but he didn't get anyone killed he just didn't do everything he could to save them from the mistakes that put them there after RUN was called multiple times. If you trip and toss your phone and I fail to catch it, I didn't break it.
