Every kind of reply has its own designed component. Streaming markdown, collapsible reasoning, tool calls with running, done, failed, and denied states, citations merged into one clean source list, inline attachments. Loading and error states included.

It works out of the box. Clone it and it streams demo conversations through the exact same code a live model uses. Set one env variable and you are talking to Claude, GPT, and Grok through the Vercel AI Gateway. Storage sits behind one small ChatStore interface. Point it at your database.

The product around the chat is crafted too. Command palette on Cmd K, dictation with a live waveform, projects with shared instructions and sources, a library of every file linked back to its conversation, and private, team, or public share links.

Or just add the assistant. The assistant panel installs on its own and docks the chat beside the product you already have. Opened from an Ask AI button or a shortcut.

Ship it whole, or install the blocks. The app is built from registry blocks: chat, composer, chat shell, assistant panel, share dialog. StyleX solves different problems. shadcn/ui is a Tailwind ecosystem, and that's who this is for. Neither is outdated, they're different stacks. Ours happens to be the one with a huge component ecosystem!

'Complete' is doing a lot of work here. Every AI chat I've built eventually broke on streaming stability or per-conversation token costs, and neither is a UI problem.

Totally fair. Complete means the interface surface: threads, projects, attachments, sharing, assistant panel. Streaming stability and token costs live behind the transport seam, which stays yours. The point is you never have to rebuild the UI around them again.

Can we connect agentic frameworks like google adk?

Yes, the UI only speaks the AI SDK chat transport. Put ADK (or any agent framework) behind a route handler that streams AI SDK UI messages and the whole interface works unchanged.

is there api connection

Not wired by default, it ships with scripted transports so you can run it with zero keys. But everything goes through the AI SDK's useChat, so connecting a real API is just swapping the transport for your own /api/chat route. Any provider works.
