AI has completely changed how I work. Over the weekend I built myself a personal investment tool without opening an IDE or Figma. It has agents, chat, fundamentals, screener, and so much more. All perfectly customized to my needs. And it's insanely fast and fun to use.

Launching Copper, a Mac app for capturing things you want to keep and prompts you want to try next while working with AI. The more I use AI, the more I find myself collecting little things I don't want to lose. You're in ChatGPT and think, "I'll need this later," but you don't want to stop what you're doing. Then you're in Claude. Cursor. Chrome. Back to ChatGPT. Before long, you've got little things scattered everywhere. An answer you want to keep. A link. An idea. Or three follow-up prompts before the current one has even finished generating. I had this problem, so I built Copper. Copper combines the useful parts of a to-do list, a clipboard, and a scratchpad. It's built specifically for AI-assisted work. It sits next to where you work and is always one shortcut away. It works with all your AI apps, terminals and browsers. Whenever I find something worth keeping, I capture it. If I think of a few prompts while the AI is still responding, I type them into Copper. I'm now building Executor full time as a startup! The state of tool calling is a mess: - Everyone is using different agents - You have no idea what actions are going to run - Destructive actions are treated the same as normal Executor lets you set up everything once & use it with any agent. You're able to control what tools can be called, require approval on destructive actions, and invite your team to all use them. Under the hood, it's built on codemode to let you add thousands of tools with 0 context bloat. I've been using it for a month so far and it has completely changed how I interact with agents. There's so much to be built here, immediately next up on the roadmap is workspaces, skills, workflows, and generative ui. Everything is being built open source over at there's a lot more coming on an SDK to embed it into your own agents, a self hostable cloud app, and plugins There's an early beta version over at It's very early on - if you hit any bugs let me know and I'll get them fixed up, excited to share more as I build it!

We live in the solo founder era. That's for sure and building with AI has accelerated. I am building software to use for myself and replace the expensive tools I used to use. And partially thanks to AI we can build faster, but not dramatically faster if you want to build a commercial grade product. Before I was using a live chat and customer support tool that costed around 50-100$ a month. This helped me to interact with the customers of my agency or prospects. But I decided a few months ago to build my own and stop paying for these more expensive solutions. I did and turned into a product for everyone to use. The build was not 1-2 hours of work using AI, but it was a several-month process on and off as I needed it. Finally, it has turned into a commercial grade product. I have built several of these and this is when we will see more and more solutions like these. Let's start bootstrapping before showing MRR figures.

I've used basically every knowledge management and project management tool out there, and every tool has the same problem. they expect me to do things that computers should do. meanwhile, so many AI tools replace the wrong work. i want to do more creative work, less administrative work. the right tool SHOULD assist me at doing my best work. but no tool has ever done that for me! so here's the first public demo of my dream solution to both problems, in the form of deeply personalized software. i've had so much fun building this, and it's already had a materially positive impact on my life. would love to share more, so ask questions and I'll go deeper into how various parts of the system work under the hood!
