More coming soon ! I manage to integrate for the first time volumetric 3D video made with Kartel.ai inside the AI world generated in gaussian splatting by World Labs !! I coded all in three.js! And it's possible to integrate elements on the fly ;) And so you can imagine soon what we will produce with that en AI : consistency of character and environment, relighting etc...

There’s a feeling of “wtf is a designer anymore” floating around… I felt it while scrolling Reddit after Figma Make was announced 😬 For some people it simply didn’t compute that a code prototype could be a design artifact. But I’ll let you in on a little secret… A few days ago I visited a well-known design leader and he said that in the last 6 months, ~40% of their team's design artifacts are now created in Lovable, Bolt, etc. That’s kind of crazy, right? It's a big reason why Ioana Teleanu (1st AI designer at Miro) said design is "in the middle of an identity crisis" So Ioana and I went deep into this topic during today's episode and I want to share a few ideas I’m still thinking about: ——— We’re in a weird moment in history where there are AI designers and non-AI designers. But this is a blip on the timeline as adoption accelerates. The idea of "AI designer" won't exist in the future Here's what Ioana said 👇 “We’re all gonna be thinking about some sort of AI angle in the way we do our work. I don’t even feel that the AI design role will exist in this explicit format in a couple of years. All the designers will be AI designers” I want to make something clear though... Ioana described herself as generally “change averse” and the type of person who "DOESN'T jump on new things" That’s why her initial approach to AI was a bit less intentional… But now she’s changed her tune: “We have a moral duty to experiment with these technologies because we're designers and we should be curious about the world, and we should be curious about the future.” The cost of ignoring new technology has never been higher So if you’re interested in what it looks like to design AI experiences within your existing product then I think you’ll really enjoy this week's episode Ioana shares a ton of lessons learned from Miro and frameworks for how she helps clients integrate AI effectively 👇

This woman got an alert on her home camera that someone was trying to break in. When she speaks to him and tells him she can see him, he waves. 😂 Then she tells him to leave and that she has already called the cops. He takes off and hops the wall and is gone. Some people questioned why she would warn him that she had him on camera and told him she had notified the police. Others said he may have been able to take some stuff before the cops arrived. I would have done what she did. Why go through the hassle of repairing what he was going to break to get in, filing an insurance claim and him possibly taking something that was of value to you? What would you have done? Would you have just watched him and not said a thing hoping the cops arrived soon or would you have done what she did and told him to get lost?

I use Flot AI because I’m tired of thinking about prompts. Not because I don’t know how — but because I don’t want to stop my work just to phrase things perfectly. 2023 was the year of AI avatars 2024 was the year of AI photos 2025 was the year of AI videos And I think it's becoming clear now that 2026 will be the year of AI world models Fully interactive explorable 3d worlds generated from one or multiple 2d images or a prompt In turn these 2d images can then be generated by AI too So soon you can generate fully explorable virtual 3d worlds based on your own imagination Next will be figuring out how to make those worlds interactive This is World Labs (unaffiliated, but I like it) As always a lot of big AI model companies are now working on the same thing: 3d world models, only World Labs has a real properly working demo (for now) Very exciting time again!

Only one Adobe Firefly video prompt from our research hit production-ready on the first generation. Prompt in comments 👀 It looks you have to direct the camera as much as the model to get the most out of Firefly. Every other video session in our research needed a revision. Revising the first frame is where Firefly broke: >motion failures (temporal flicker, motion continuity, physics in motion) carried 60% of video's issue mix once designers re-prompted. TLDR: in Adobe Firefly, the camera does a lot of the work. Bake it into the first prompt and the video lands. Its by far the best time to be a creative.

Here is why I disengaged FSD 14.3.3. Before this clip starts, I could see a semi coming down the on ramp and saw that it had some momentum. FSD did not slow down but the truck in the right lane would have ran into the other semi and either had to brake real hard or switch lanes. I took over to make it clear to the semi driver that I would let them over. No big deal, would be nice, if FSD could have seen that coming and facilitated that move. Tesla AI

At Uber, design source of truth was a big problem for design and engineering teams. No one knew what the app truly looked like. So every week, a group of designers would sit in a meeting room and check that engineers had correctly implemented the Figma designs. Now coding agents have increased the throughput of changes by an order of magnitude. Keeping up manually has become impossible. Here we used the Revyl to map every state in Ubert (demo uber), navigating our mobile use agent on a cloud iOS simulator. This would have taken a team of designers tens of hours to recreate by hand.
