On August 12, 2023, on a live show, Aidan Kearney played a game he called "Canton Roulette" in which he would randomly call investigators, witnesses, and their families involved in the Read case for the purpose of harassment and taunting. That night, he called Jillian Daniels, aunt of Colin Albert, and started the call with "Are you at all worried that your godson Colin is going to go to jail?" It is December 29, 2025 and Megyn Kelly of the The Megyn Kelly Show has officially endorsed Aidan Kearney's abuse of John O'Keefe's family. It is December 29, 2025 and Megyn Kelly of the The Megyn Kelly Show has officially endorsed Aidan Kearney's abuse of John O'Keefe's family. Read then left him to die alone in the freezing cold. Through the use of Kearney to spread a propaganda campaign, Read was acquitted of murder.
