Dear @AirCanada, my family appreciated the CEO stepping up and explaining how distraught Air Canada is over this tragedy. Please ignore the circus that the head clown of Canada is making of this not being in both languages. I am certain there is more to this than a public video.

Air Canada has very good safety record and Air Canada pilots are best pilots. Very sad.

I can't help but think that every the 4 times he says "Jazz Aviation ", he is trying to distance himself with that company. Just like busses have to stop at railroad crossings, you would think trucks would have to stop at runways and look both ways. This could have been avoided.

Who is responsible for this incident? after watching the latest video, i can say that the fire truck caused this and taken away the 2 lives. US should take the responsibilty of this.

I would like to send condolences to Air Canada, english canadians support you and your CEO. And might I suggest moving your head office after all this language issues . I am sure Alberta would be very welcoming.

If I was a pilot I’d refuse dangerous work & refuse to fly into US airspace, refuse to land or takeoff at US airport. With the long term issues with US ATCs (understaffed and outdated equipment) and now the security issues. I’d call flighting anywhere in the US as dangerous

Air Canada is a private company, detracting their executive team into the circus of a parliamentary hearing in the middle of this tragedy makes no sense- so the CEO can’t speak another language- he’s still able to share his deep feelings and sadness for the loss of life, let him do his job

Great statement, nice to see the CEO step up on times like this offering words, hope and encouragement for the future. Heartfelt condolences to the families effected in this, its never good to see people die especially young pilots. Thank God, there were no other fatalities.

This was a heartbreaking tragedy for young Canadian Pilots, their family and friends who will feel their loss for a lifetime. There are no words that will ease their pain ❤️

But again, just remember, this flight was operated by Jazz Aviation LP, not Air Canada, just on behalf smh. He’s emphasizing so hard that Jazz is not Air Canada but it is, they just do it for liability, so sad.

Sorry for pilots they had no chance All of this mayhem just because UAL2384 2x aborted takeoff then he smell odor form back of a plane then he missed his taxi exit so he stop on taxi way then he declared emergency- they had to send truck for verification

Why would so many people make such a big deal that he didn’t speak in French during his statement, when we lost two young pilots . Grow up people , who cares that he didn’t announce it in French at the time of grief. What kind of a country have we become.
