🚨 Air India Express flight from Trichy to Sharjah faced a technical problem (hydraulic failure) and is rounding in air space to decrease the fuel before landing is now landed safely at Trichy Airport.🙏 The aircraft roamed in air for 2 hours straight on the below path.

Nosed! This video, supposedly of the Air India Express flight landing at #Phuket airport is doing rounds … the airline did not verify it as the same aircraft involved in the incident and am no expert but this looks bad and and a very hard landing , not at all as desired. Thankful that no injuries.. and all ended well for pax and crew. An Air India Express statement earlier in the day said: “We confirm that our Hyderabad-Phuket flight on 11 March experienced an issue with the nose wheel at Phuket Airport. The crew followed all standard protocols, and guests were deplaned. We thank our guests, the Phuket airport authorities, and all stakeholders for their cooperation.” - An Air India Express Spokesperson.”

Air India Statement Air India welcomes back stranded passengers from Dubai on flight AI916D that landed at 1058 hrs IST at Delhi Airport. The aircraft, VT-EDC, ferried a total of 149 passengers. This is the first flight operated by an Indian carrier for the homecoming of passengers amid the ongoing situation in the Middle East. Earlier this morning, 143 cockpit and cabin crew members of Air India and Air India Express who were stranded in Dubai safely arrived back in Delhi on flight AI918D. Our Operations Control Centre and supporting teams have been working around the clock to facilitate these flights in extraordinary circumstances, ensuring seamless coordination throughout. We express our sincere gratitude to the Government of India, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and the local authorities in Dubai for their continued cooperation in enabling these vital operations. We remain deeply committed to the safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew, which continues to be our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the situation, and we are in close contact with Dubai Airports and other relevant authorities to operate more flights at the earliest opportunity, as and when permissible.

This historic lakebed is where Chuck Yeager first broke the sound barrier in the Bell X-1, and where the Enterprise space shuttle prototype completed a series of approach and landing flight trials. It's an honor for us to conduct testing of our electric air taxi on this hallowed ground.
